I'm hispanic. Pardon my spelling as I don't write in spanish very often, if at all. That is my source.
I've never commented on the show on here but that was definitely one of my favorite episodes of the three seasons. This is coming from someone who has been disappointed all season long.
Season 3 had a new show runner. They are getting another one for next season. Frank Darabont started, left in season 2, and was replaced by Glenn Mazara, who left at the end of this season. All show runners are also show writers, and they are the guy in the director's chair.I'm not the only one?
Seriously, the decisions seem wrong, it's like Robert Kirkman is unsure of what people would say given a certain circumstance.
I secretly hoped he'd take Rick's offer (esp. after reading the comics), but you know by that point, Morgan doesn't want to see Rick, the last person he liked, die.
But if you want to know for sure that the bad calls aren't Kirkman's read the comics. If this were 100% Kirkman's vision we would be knee-deep in sex scenes every time they found a quiet place to rest.
Two children at risk, one an infant, makes one stop to think. He didn't give the group this choice, so he hasn't completely made it yet, but he is letting them sit on the idea of war before telling them. He wants the full impact of either choice to be fealt. This much tells me that despite what he wants or thinks he should do he is making it a group decision. That he is considering it at all disturbs himself, which is why he confided in Herschel. And ultimately, Rick knows there is no actual deal.^I wasn't that impressed with this episode, mainly due to one thing:
The end! When Rick considers the governors deal. It ain't in line with Rick's caracter. Rick wouldn't trust him letting the others live. Not after what happened with the Gov. Rick mistrusted so many people after his experience with the new world, it just seems out of line that he would even consider this.
The Governor's too smart for that. He had a hidden gun, he was there far in advance, and he made it clear that he has been watching Rick's every move when he talked about the guns they brought back. For me the decision Rick would have made is, kill the Governor at the metting with Maggie as Back up sniper somewhere at a vantage point.
Andrea has been setup as a wild card, but like Merle, the Governor knows her allegiances are being pulled. I have a feeling that Milton will surprise us. He's too well educated to not see a great leader showing his true colors as a tyrant.Apart from that, the episode really was the calm before the storm type. Well done.
What was with that flashback at the beginning? Totally had me confused if I was actually watching a new episode.![]()
Didn't like how the Gov caught up to her like that, especially with the situation he was in. Also found the episode a little predictable, but better with a faster pace than the episode last week. Really looking forward to the finale...
Oh man Andrea is screwed!
Because writhing, charred corpses is an awesome visual effect? Why burn the zombies when you can compost them?
I'd actually forgotten exactly what I said and had to go back. An interesting twist would be if the governor does something reprehensible, like threaten Judith or start torturing Andrea that finally pushes Milton and he kills the governor. The other angle that would be interesting is if Tyrese plays a roll, puts his hammer in the governor's other eye and he is last seen being swarmed by walkers that he can't see to defend against. The Millton one was a good one. You nailed that one, didn't expect him burning the gov. like that. The helping was tto be expected but the turning back on gov. was a nice touch
As cool as this would be, I imagine it wouldn't work because as the walkers have been portrayed, they still have human physical limits. Charred skin and melted tendons make movement nearly impossible.Burning zombies, way better than just put them in the prison unflammed. Imagine 30 burning Zombies running around, incinerating everything = Mayhem
