I'm hispanic. Pardon my spelling as I don't write in spanish very often, if at all. That is my source.

Hmmm, makes sense. I speak Spanish fluently, but, I learned at school; a different emphasis put on writing/reading. I know, Spanish from Mexico and other countries that aren't Spain, pronounce things differently, so I have no doubts, that you speak Spanish; it's even more proof, actually.

Anyways, back on topic:

Thanks Ddrizle. 👍

Shame. They coulda came up with something to say there to spark interest and worry for something that's upcoming.

The episode the other night was good. The big fight scene at the end was particularly good. Left it on a cliff hanger as to how they're going to retaliate to that huge attack they took, if they will at all. Atleast Rick seems to be back to the land of living, so to speak. I'm looking forward to next week.

Glad to see Daryl and Merle returned to the group. 👍

I'm watching. Anyone in Canada see the message at the bottom? Says rogers is gonna cancel amc so we won't get the channel now. They posted a link to email rogers and tell them how stupid that would be. I emailed them and I hope everyone else does the same. Amc is literally the only tv shows I actually watch on TV.

Oh, and, apparently you can also find realistic looking mannequins. http://www.keepamccanada.com/success.php :scared: Almost thought it was real.

I've never commented on the show on here but that was definitely one of my favorite episodes of the three seasons. This is coming from someone who has been disappointed all season long.

I'm not the only one? :indiff:

Seriously, the decisions seem wrong, it's like Robert Kirkman is unsure of what people would say given a certain circumstance.

Season 3 had a new show runner. They are getting another one for next season. Frank Darabont started, left in season 2, and was replaced by Glenn Mazara, who left at the end of this season. All show runners are also show writers, and they are the guy in the director's chair.

Kirkman is show creator and a writer. He may be turned to more often in the writing room, but he is not calling the final shots. There are four people credited with writing on every episode.

But if you want to know for sure that the bad calls aren't Kirkman's read the comics. If this were 100% Kirkman's vision we would be knee-deep in sex scenes every time they found a quiet place to rest.

This is easily among my favorite episodes. I normally end up having a "meh" attitude towards episodes with little action, but this one didn't need it in any way. In fact, as Morgan told his story, I felt a bit sad on the inside that this is how he turned out, a man destined to live alone from now on.

I secretly hoped he'd take Rick's offer (esp. after reading the comics), but you know by that point, Morgan doesn't want to see Rick, the last person he liked, die.

Quite a bit of an emotional episode, imo.

Pretty good ep. A lot of emotions from All over. I also felt like someone was gonna die the whole time but didn't know who. Really sets up multiple directions for future episodes. The showed the preview for the next one and Rick is meeting with the governor just like a normal meeting. Will be interesting to see how that happened.

So did my entire family.

It makes me wonder, too, if the Governor's going to:

take Rick's eye out

Michonne's line about the mat saying welcome when eating the chips was good stuff. It has taken the writers much too long to give her any kind of dialogue beyond a grunt or one word answers. Finally, a bit of development.

^I wasn't that impressed with this episode, mainly due to one thing:

The end! When Rick considers the governors deal. It ain't in line with Rick's caracter. Rick wouldn't trust him letting the others live. Not after what happened with the Gov. Rick mistrusted so many people after his experience with the new world, it just seems out of line that he would even consider this.

For me the decision Rick would have made is, kill the Governor at the metting with Maggie as Back up sniper somewhere at a vantage point.

Apart from that, the episode really was the calm before the storm type. Well done.

The Spanish dude with the baseballbat... Glenn's head ... ??? That was one of the most shocking stuff I ever had in a comic... Well hope not...

Two children at risk, one an infant, makes one stop to think. He didn't give the group this choice, so he hasn't completely made it yet, but he is letting them sit on the idea of war before telling them. He wants the full impact of either choice to be fealt. This much tells me that despite what he wants or thinks he should do he is making it a group decision. That he is considering it at all disturbs himself, which is why he confided in Herschel. And ultimately, Rick knows there is no actual deal.

For me the decision Rick would have made is, kill the Governor at the metting with Maggie as Back up sniper somewhere at a vantage point.
The Governor's too smart for that. He had a hidden gun, he was there far in advance, and he made it clear that he has been watching Rick's every move when he talked about the guns they brought back.

Andrea has been setup as a wild card, but like Merle, the Governor knows her allegiances are being pulled. I have a feeling that Milton will surprise us. He's too well educated to not see a great leader showing his true colors as a tyrant.

What was with that flashback at the beginning? Totally had me confused if I was actually watching a new episode.

Trying to give Andrea and Michonne, especially Michonne, a bit more backstory. Michonne has been terribly underdeveloped until the last few episodes.

Same here. I thought I'd "acquired" an old episode. Worried me cause I was looking forward to it, but couldn't remember the scene from before.

Didn't like how the Gov caught up to her like that, especially with the situation he was in. Also found the episode a little predictable, but better with a faster pace than the episode last week. Really looking forward to the finale...

Don't jump the gun, 2 eps left. :)

Why burn the zombies when you can compost them?

@Foolkiller: Yeah probably my expectations are a bit screwed with the comics. though Rick wouldn't japordize his son's life for a deal he can't be sure, especially after the gov. told them he was only there to accept their surrender.
But that Rick only was after the prison assault in the comics, so... yeah

The Millton one was a good one. You nailed that one, didn't expect him burning the gov. like that. The helping was tto be expected but the turning back on gov. was a nice touch

Oh man Andrea is screwed!

Finally

Burning zombies, way better than just put them in the prison unflammed. Imagine 30 burning Zombies running around, incinerating everything = Mayhem

On the flashback, I ask myself more what the gov. was doing with the chains. Trying to understand? or what?

Hoping though that the last 2 episodes will be a bit more fast paced and action oriented.
The last one surely will, but the next one?

The finale will be interesting to see how it will differ from the comics. The main gate beeing already down...

Why burn the zombies when you can compost them?
Because writhing, charred corpses is an awesome visual effect?

Or did you want an actual story-related answer?

I'd actually forgotten exactly what I said and had to go back. An interesting twist would be if the governor does something reprehensible, like threaten Judith or start torturing Andrea that finally pushes Milton and he kills the governor. The other angle that would be interesting is if Tyrese plays a roll, puts his hammer in the governor's other eye and he is last seen being swarmed by walkers that he can't see to defend against.

I haven't gotten this far in the comics yet, so I'm just shooting ideas based on how I see the TV show progressing.

As cool as this would be, I imagine it wouldn't work because as the walkers have been portrayed, they still have human physical limits. Charred skin and melted tendons make movement nearly impossible.
