that last episode's end... OMG.

I don't want to hear it, I'm waiting for the Blu-ray.

One of my coworkers were telling me today how he wasn't impressed with the first season all that much, but he's really enjoying the Season 2. I can't wait! :)

With all the staffing issues they were having, I've been pleasantly surprised that they've kept up the quality this season.

that last episode's end... OMG.

You mean episode 3? If so, indeed. That was quite unexpected.

Loving this series so far. So much character development, great drama, great story. I hope it stays this good.

Yes got damn, I felt bad for one hour after that.

Season 2, episode 3 spoiler:

The guy actually saved him not once but twice, and he still killed him in such a cold way. For what it's worth, you can see it's just the writers trying to pull our heartstrings in a cheap way. Why did he shot the guy in the leg and not the head? No reason, just to make it more gore-ish.

Nooo dude, it was so the guy would still be alive and the zombies would eat him, giving him time to scape! Zombies don't eat dead people :dopey:

Going by the shaving his hair and not saying alot, It looks like he is about to do a Private Pyle.

I got that much

I'm just not convinced the zombies would not eat him just because he was dead for a few seconds. What difference would it make?

That's what I was thinking too. Remember last week when they got that bloated walker out of the well and T-Dog bashed its head in? Maggie seemed to be really upset about that so they could be family or farm workers or friends. I figured there was some secret on the farm to be discovered. Hershel seemed to want the group to leave way too badly. Next week is definitely going to be interesting.

I liked this episode for one reason though, reaffirming Daryl as a complete bad ass. Wounded and attacked he still makes it back alive, sporting some zombie ears for good measure.

One thing I do hope to happen is for them to conclude the whole search for Sophia thing. She's been missing for way too long now. She really needs to turn up, alive or dead.

got damn what an end to this episode. Maybe you people want to spoiler tag the comments? Just sayin'.

Anyway, great cliffhanger. Now you know why the guy wants them outta there.

From the comic, I think the farmer dude (I still don't remember half the names) has a son in the barn who turned into a zombie, that's why he said to Rick that he wants to take care of zombies coming into his farm, to capture them and one day hope to find a cure.

No point in having a thread specifically about discussing the show and having to put everything in spoiler tags. I put a spoiler alert on the title just for good measure though. 👍

I couldn't agree more. The whole subject has been explored from every angle possible already. I can't stand to hear about it anymore.

What gives, slims!? You just put me in exile until I finish watching the Season 2 on Blu-ray. I can participate from the time I finish watching them on Blu-ray until the next season starts.

Season 2 has been great so far, its a lot more character development with a few unique zombie experiences thrown in (I'm glad they really try to be creative with the whole thing and not just have them popping out of the bushes 👍 )

Anyone watching the webisodes as they come out? I found the ending of them to be a little lame, but its a nice touch to the show.

I've found it pretty boring to be honest. This sums it up quite well.

Apart from Daryl, I don't think we've seen that much character development.

It's been a slow start to the 2nd series, hopefully because it has more episodes this time around, it picks up soon.

I know. Shane's right though, they're sitting on a ticking time bomb. Wood rots. Plus if there is a shred of humanity in those things, wouldn't it be better to put them down then let them live through the misery of being a mindless walking weird ass zombie? Hershel looks depressed though. Shane was right all along as well. He knew what had happened. I think he may have seen her when he looked through the barn.

FINALLY!!!

And a realistic outcome as well. It took it's sweet time, but at least it didn't disappoint.

What an absolutely genius bit of writing. Before this episode I was thinking – if they find Sophia alive, that’s kind of lame and cliché and will turn many people off the show. But showing a child getting attacked and infected feels like crossing some kind of line. BUT, showing her as already infected and then having to be shot… she’s already infected so she’s not really a child in the strict sense of the word, so it crosses all the lines without actually crossing them. And all while obviously delivering drama for the rest of the character developments. Brilliant.

Say what you want, it might have been obvious but I absolutely never saw it coming. When she came out it was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

What an end.

Haha how am I just finding out about this thread now. I like this show because it has zombies as like the after thought in a good way. Its all about the people from all different ways of life coming together trying to survive. A lot of my friends love zombies and all say this season isn't as good because of that. They want zombies non stop just murdering like crazy. What do you people think. More zombie murders or better with more story telling?

Story is always better. In this society though people just want action. I got knocked on my Machinima for having a good story, but there wasn't non-stop action.

I'm glad they let Rick kill the girl, err, zombie. He felt like it was his responsibility.Do you guys think Shane might go insane? It seems like he may take over the barn sometime.
