If schools fail will you advocate a bigger budget?

- In some cases. Any idiot knows that something's wrong if a school's failing. Problem is, it may be the students themselves. In this case, maybe the curriculums should just be extended or taught better.

Do you want reforms?

- How? It's not the Nixon presidency.

Do you plan on fighting a teacher's union?

- Sure, they do now.

Will you increase the budget due to factors such as population and numer?

- Of course.

When's the budget enough?

- When the school does better.

Where do you draw the line?

- MY BRILLIANT IDEA: Federal task force investigates schools that, despite added money and new teachers, continues to fail. Brilliant?

You know, if more teachers would lighten up and not be such ****s and actually joke around once in a while, maybe wed have more students accomplishing good grades and more graduating.

One thing ive noticed is that if a teachers nice, funny, and can make the class laugh, most of the students succeed and pass that class. Only reason i know this is because i had an algebra class (im a freshman.) and the teacher was great, he didnt really care if you were tardy as long as you showed up and the only way you could possibly piss him off was if you just refused to do your work and pay attention, or argue with him. Basically, all thats needed to say really is that he was a great teacher and 97% of all his classes passed the class with b's.. And the work wasnt easy, he just made more of the students happy n was able to get em to work.

I know this is off topic but still, teachers, LIGHTEN UP!

Thats what every school needs.

Vague answer

Do you plan on fighting a teacher's union?

- Sure, they do now.

Which adds to expense and delay.

Will you increase the budget due to factors such as population and numer?

-Of course.

Of course, but if pressure forces schools to shape up, might it not be possible to reduce the budget so that we could be spending farr less 20 years from now then we are currently?

When's the budget enough?

- When the school does better.

Define better. When the grades improve? Very good, except that no matter what criteria you come up with, schools, but not all, will not let dollars dwindle or even risk it. They will fear that success will bring a lack of pressure. Only if a state feels the return on their investment is sufficient will they continue to funnel higher and higher amounts each year. But, truthfully, states will put large amounts in regardless. Success will never be had, whether it is a goal beyond the teaching methods used or a school pleading for that one last gymnasium, more will be asked, and more and more, etc.

Where do you draw the line?

- MY BRILLIANT IDEA: Federal task force investigates schools that, despite added money and new teachers, continues to fail. Brilliant?

You previously said when they do better, so are you not questioning yourself by now saying you want federal oversight?

You're kind of right. Some people weren't cut out to be teachers, but they . . . are anyway.

Yeah, some people? Most people. If they cant handle the students then dont become a teacher :)

Sorry, i dont have bad grades :)

I will have to disagree... The "nicest" teachers tend to be the ones that you never learn anything from. Take for example my 7th grade language arts teacher... nicest person in the world, talked to her a lot, great person. But, to be honest, I didn't learn a single thing in that class. Now, back to 8th grade language arts, where I had a "harsher" teacher, she taught me a lot.

I agree some teachers need to calm down a bit, but for the most part you learn more from those teachers. ;)
