Why are these plonkers who record footage on their camera phone of them playing a game such utter planks at playing them?

I am pretty sure that's one of the very last things they focus on. I think their main focus is dialing in the physics while the tires on the track. But I am not certain since I am not a game designer.

For comparison: PS4 allows recording of 15min via built-in app.



For anything longer you'd need an external recording device (both consoles deactivate hdcp while playing games).

Has the 15 minutes been confirmed? Last I heard, they were deciding on whether to go with 8 to 15 minutes, or anywhere in between.
 
Did I miss something? What is the point of that ad? or will Stig be setting lap times for people to challenge in Forza?
 
If both consoles deactivate HDCP when playing games, what was that thing about them needing to patch the ability to record gameplay into the system? Or is that they will both eventually deactivate HDCP?

HDCP is not the problem for internal recording.

Does that "snap activity" feature work while playing a game? Will it pause it?

Can continue playing when you snap the new Machinima app.



Looks like a really cool app and only available on Xbox one.

I'm impressed by the look of Mad Catz wheel. Firs i thought it's going to be cheap but looks like Mad Catz really wants to take pieces left by Logitech for them selfs. Great Job.

I'm more hyped about Forza than any of the PS4 exclusives that I've seen, which is really annoying because I don't want to spend and extra £80 for an XBOX compared to what the PS4 costs, which is a problem because I am not exactly rich at the moment :p.

On top of the more expensive Membership fees per year to take full advantage of everything.
 
...and as I say there are similar offers for Xbox. Both services are going to cost essentially the same on the next generation, give or take a pound or two.

It is more required for Xbox One than it is for PS4 though for online functionalities of the console.
