I dont like the way the cars look when they turn. It looks like the back wheels and front wheels turn at the same time.Making the corner easier.

this thread is a hlaf a year old ,shame on the person who brought it up.

It's not necessarily a bad thread, and look at it this way:
The person in question did some research and didn't spam the boards.

This is a thread equivalent in significance to a wish list thread. PD won't take out stuff just because some little angry pirates on a board want them too...... especially the hand brake, wtf? If that goes, why not get rid of the wheels too as code_kev said? I mean, if you get rid of the fly behind car view (since no one actually rides OUTSIDE of their car), you won't see your wheels anyway.... Which leads me to say get rid of the cars themselves.... you wouldn't see those either. And don't start with replays, because what are the chances of someone actually recording EVERY time you're on the track? I mean, pffff.

What I'm getting at here is that complaining about things is really pretty pointless. Unless you or someone you know can take over PD and change things (or maybe you date KY in real life.), you have no say in what stays or doesn't.

I'm pretty sure my rant is over. I prolly missed a lot of stuff between this and the first page, but I don't care. But to end my post, I'll give an idea of what should be removed from the GT series: fans who can't appreciate what they get and stop complaining. Thanks for reading. End.

*EDIT*

Also, try to realize that probably around 98% of the people who play Gran Turismo will have something that they don't like. You don't need to think there's no one out there that agrees with you, and in turn makes it a waste of bandwidth to post what you don't like about ANY particular game.

i need the handbreak for Assdragging. And maybe the physics have changed so that the handbreak is actually usefull :)

Perhaps... The handbrake is not completely useless. It's used for assdragging!! Has anyone notice that when the handbrake is tapped in GT2, the tach goes to 0? Does this mean that the circle button also acts as a neutral shift? Howver this is contradicted with FF cars, which can do doughnuts with the rear wheels locked with the handbrake.

The handbrake is on the rear wheels (of all cars with handbrakes), and the tach is a speedometer (which reads the speed from the drive wheels, no? atleast in the game). Therefore, upon tapping the handbrake, the rear wheels stop, reducing the rear wheel speed to zero (duh) and as a result, the tachometer showing a speed of 0. I made this confusing on purpose, by the way.

The tachometer displays how many RPMs your engine is making. If ya let off the accelerator, the revs will slow doth gradually. If ya tap the O button (handbrake), voila! Your engine seems to have stalled. Note that speed (speedometer) does not decrease significantly.
