1. "Helicopter" view camera only for replay (always stay in this view)
2. "ground"/"Fixed" camera position only for replay (always stay in this view).
3. Steering damage (someone mentioned some damage type but didn't mention this one)
4. Qualifs... please god...
5. Move the Roof Camera to the "canopy" view (just on the other side of the windshield basically, where we see the hood only.
6. Camera trauma effects when hit or landing hard (take a look at GRID for reference)
7. The Ability to look left and right RAPIDLY using the right analogue (similar to Nascar games)... keyword: RAPIDLY! QUICK PEEK!
8. Real Tire Damage + Temperature
9. Yellow, Black and Blue Flags
10. Time penalities when cutting the track on the "INSIDE", grass, sandpit, walls, ocean, whatever... just penalise people on the inside of the track and not on the outside (like Forza).
11. Convincing Smoke effects (GRID for inspiration)
12. The ability to get out of your car and steal someone else's... ok just kidding on that one ;)

Inside view of the cars have this, just slam a wall hard and you'll see.

The ability to get out of your car and steal someone else's...

Or settle road rage confrontations in a cut-a-way mma style street scrap scene based on your GT5 online customized personal avatar/character in an open arena ala 'Dead or Alive'. 👍 No...? Fine......

LOL NICE!

i can see two cars neck a neck on a straight, both players looking at the side with a pistol in first person view, trying to cap the other ehehhe fun times... fun times...

"Road Rage engaged!"

Yeah but its nowhere near as convincing and "wow-like" it could be to tell you the truth... right now there's a little blur and some jaggy effect... not much going on.

The ability to watch replays of online races and (something I've always wanted from GT) a more comprehensive list of lap times. How do you delete entries from the top ten lists in GT5:P anyway? On some tracks I have all ten spots filled with various runs from the same fast car. That's so useless! Why not at least give me the option to delete like we could in GT4? There are so many cool things you could do beyond that though. How about being able to access lap information from either the track itself or from the garage while viewing a car? "So what kind of run did this Viper do the last time I took it to Suzuka?" Would it take up too much memory to have some detailed info about the setup of the car that got a certain time? Click here, get a picture and a tuning screen of what exact configuration clocked this lap. Also, why only 10 entries per track since GT1? Why not 100, 1000, or until my hard drive fills up? "Geez, I knew this Mustang was slow but I didn't realize it was only the 80th fastest car in my garage!" And why not keep track of both time trial laps and actual race laps too?

I've also always wanted the ability to design my own events - and PD has come sort of close a couple times but not quite close enough. Pick your car, your track, number of laps - then pick your opponents too - like maybe five cars (or just two!) from your own garage specially tuned to give a nice close race. Possibly even let you use the AI and just watch the race, then make adjustments to tighten up the competition even more and race them against each other again. Also maybe have some kind of mechanism for awarding prize money and/or cars.

BTW, if somebody knows how to delete entries from those top ten lists in GT5:P, let me know? (please don't tell me to drive faster in order to overwrite them :dopey:)

I think online races need more than just the results at the end of the race. How about:
Most laps led:
Fastest Lap:
Most cars passed:
etc...

Go to the option menu and at the bottom you'll see Utilities in there you have Delete Course Records :D

Or you could always drive faster

Thanks - I remember seeing that now. It wipes out all the times, even ones I might like to keep! Bit of sledgehammer approach but better than nothing:indiff:
Perhaps I should just try and drive faster :ouch:

The other thing you could do is save your best lap ghosts. Before you clear your records. At least then you'll have a reference point.

The aerodynamic glitch that's in GT4, that's just dumb. I know it's fun, but I'd rather go for speed records with 'real' aerodynamic adjustments having the correct affect on the car. 👍

Not to mention the amount of time they took to finish the race.

What about fines meaning that you have to pay the damage on you own and any opponents car you cause? If you are broke you are unable to race online and have to run offline events in order to get enough credits to race. The "destruction derby drivers" will be broke all the time and probably gets tired of the game.

Game saves would have to be moved to a centralized server for this to work, as otherwise players would just avoid saving a game or session where they lost money.

7. The Ability to look left and right RAPIDLY using the right analogue (similar to Nascar games)... keyword: RAPIDLY! QUICK PEEK!

You can do this already, just go into the options menu and remap the controller keys.

What they should do is when you log in to race, your car is loaded up as well. If you are detected ramming someone in a deliberate fashion, ie steering and holding the accelerator down and not applying breaks, then your car is impounded instantly, race over for you. Deleted from your GT5 garage as well.

What would be cooler still is if there was a way to engage a locking application that restricted you from buying that car for say 30 days in the game, period.

Perhaps they are going to have to start logging serial numbers of your machine and it goes on a demerit system, get 5 points and your machine can no longer login to the network for 30 days or something. 👍👍 I like that idea.

30 days is to harsh as 5 misjudgements are very very likely. Maybe something like a compound interest type system, first time 1 day, second time 2 days, 4 days, 8 days, etc. With it being X points in Y amount of time rather then permanant. Then people would go offline to avoid getting there last strike or carry on being stupid and get the ban, either way bye bye.

There's no way to make another GRID. GRID is so much funky, yellowish blindness and arcade feel that it would be disaster. Few inspirations from better colissions, flying tyres after colission into the trackside or rather mild camera shaking would be enough.

1. JGTC cars from each of the Big Three (wasn't there supposed to be the 06 Xanavi NISMO Z? :indiff:)

2. Some form of qualifying round

3. Get rid of 'Short Cut Penalty' (ie. Fuji's 100R and Suzuka's 130R...:yuck:)

4. Private race rooms, friend invites, online championship races...

5. Online stats

6. Add the NA Amuse S2300 GT1 (is the boost from that turbo really that explosive) (why does a turbocharged version even exist?)

7. Tire marks, glowing brake pads, exhaust flames, particle build up on car body...

8. Car wash and oil change :)

9. Nurburgring, Sugo, Sepang, Autopolis, Okayama, Tsukuba Circuit (London should really just be a photo mode track)

10. 07 WRC-spec Impreza STi

11. Show scenes of driver getting into car and car leaving the pits after starting race

1. Private Rooms with custom options incluidng voice chat

2. Tire Wear

3. Fuel Usage

I don't need or want more cars, damage, Nurburgring, changing weather, skid marks, or a working horn.

Realistic headlight lighting when driving at night. This is very usefull if there are actually night races.

Make the menus not take 10 seconds to load. It is so frustrating because no other game on the planet takes this long for the menus to load. It should be almost instantaneous.

I think it will quite funny if the game comes out and every single thing we've been yakking and bitching about is fixed and added or taken out...:lol:

What kinda of email do we send to PD then? 💡

That's pretty much the entire SGT schedule! Anyway, I disagree about London, but I really disagree about Tsukuba...How about we substitute Macau instead?

Anybody notice now if new people buy say a honda integra they cant race online because of thsoe stupid races how crap is that i found this after making a new account and starting again and i couldnt race

Copy your old save game maybe? 💡

Add to the 'fix-it' list, the finish line for the Fuji Speed 2005 course. The lap times on there get recorded as you go under the overhang just after you pass the finish line on the track instead of the finish line itself. I think they should take a look at that and see if that can be fixed up.
