Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

More individual race options to force on everyone in the race. HUD on/off, cockpit view on/off, TC etc

I understand the desire for this, and it's enforced in one of the flight sims I play, however I don't think it's helpful or important in GT. The cockpit view is very different from what you actually see in the cockpit and I feel that chase view is probably the most realistic when it comes to situational awareness (though it does have its flaws).

HUD should be more basic than just on off, unless we get more realistic telemetry from on board sensors and pit crew that can be dealt with separately.

PD already has a good thing going with the Seasonal events. Adding leaderboards for them would be very nice.

A step further would be something similar to the Rivals mode in FM4, where the leaderboards & Seasonal events could be used for a whole new segment of the game. You get to race the ghost laps of others for prize money.

As a source for ghosts, a player could use their PSN friend list, PD can make a race club feature(something simple, limit it to 20 members or so), and the event leaderboard could be used as well.

I can't remember if a club feature was mentioned in the first post, but I'll expand on it just a little. A simple race club would help bring some drivers together under a common banner, and could spawn interesting community events. The ability to share some cars in an online garage would be nice.

An expanded A-Spec with events based on by body type/engine type/drivetrain type, manufacturer-specific events, along with manufacturer/model rivalry events(ex: Lamborghini vs Ferrari, Ford vs Chevy vs Mopar, Camaro vs Mustang) and events with multiple classes/PP levels would help boost the event count. Look for different ways to use the courses with different cars to keep things fresh.

I understand the cockpit view has it's limitations, but it would be nice to know you are not at any disadvantage for using it. Forced cockpit view has not been a popular online feature in the racing sims I've played, but it would be nice to have it as an option.

I'm going to add more categories as some are starting to get cluttered. GAMEPLAY - Online will be broken up into sub categories among others.

GAMEPLAY - A-Spec/GT Life Features

Veteran Mode. After spending 1,000 "days" in GT Life Veteran Mode is unlocked. This mode randomly generates 10 racing events every 50 "days". The events range from 5 lap sprints to 4 hour endurance races. Rules, tracks, and cars used/allowed are completely random. This mode is designed to replace "seasonals" and to provide an endless variety of races.

Oh god. Imagina a randomly genarated 1000miles race using cars that are 150pp :L

That was in GT4 as well, and I found it was a great addition. I found it made me really feel like I was there, and that should definitely be in GT6.

Oh maaaan! the rally stages in GT4 were soo fun! GT6 better give us back the rally stages!

Car modification; roll cages, also including the ability to add a crossbar beneath the bonnet.

I would like to see a free run through a cities and countries..... day and night virtual city... interactive stops in car washes. tune shops... licenses schools... car dealerships...... drive to airports.. fly to different countries to race in respective tracks..
As far as cars are concerned of course what everbody wants to see Porsche.. I would like to see more classic cars from Pebble Beach one off prototypes. Also
De Tomaso Pantera GTS5, Mangustas
Gemballa Porsche
Techart Porsche
Older Astons
MORE RUF!!!
Bring Vector cars back...
new tuner companies like Mansory, Hamann
Old tuners Like B+B, Koenig, Rinspeed, Bertone
Full range of Lamborghinis Old to present please include prototypes..

Thanks

Please get the aftermarket exhaust sound right on the Subies. In GT5 it sounds like a Ferrari. It's supposed to have a low rumble. That's all I have to say.

Engine swap, full custom paint shop, no B-spec, more a-spec races, all the tracks from GT history like Seattle circuit or mid-field, oil change in endurance or online races, NOS, Full damage model, engines and other mechanical components can be damaged, realistic repair costs, online auction house (buy cars/tunes/paint from other players, kinda like forza) true to life engine sounds. fewer duplicate cars and more variety. we don't have the hyndai genesis or the Koeniggsegg CCX.

Have a more realistic currency system. For example, on American versions of the game, have Dollars. British: Pounds, etc.

Also, try to price things more reasonably/realistically. For example, the Ford Mk IV race car is 20,000,000 in GT5. That should be lowered to around 7,000,000 at least.

If you still want to use your own currency system, that's fine. Just please don't overprice any of the cars LOL.

In Japanese versions of the game the money cap is much higher than the other versions.

Maybe the price of the cars should mirror real world prices identically?

Peugeot is putting a 2007 model of their 908 HDi FAP racecar up for auction and it's expected to go for around 2,000,000 which gives an idea of what the prices for modern LMP racecars should be

A McLaren F1 went on auction recently and sold for £2.5 million/$4 million

So maybe split the difference and have the McLaren F1 cost 3,000,000 credits as a used car in GT6. 1,000,000 credits for a McLaren F1 in GT5 grossly undervalued the car even if that was it's original price.

Another example is the Ford GT. It went on sale at $150,000, but the value has gone up and its going for around $200,000 used

edit:GAMEPLAY: A-Spec/GT Life Features

Real car prices depending on current value (estimated from auctions and used car prices) NOT original selling price. Examples:

8,700,000 credits - 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe
4,200,000 credits - Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing
3,200,000 credits - McLaren F1
2,500,000 credits - Ford GT40
2,200,000 credits - Peugeot 908 Race Car
195,000 credits - Ford GT
47,000 credits - Dodge Viper GTS

I love the fun of having to hunt down cars in the used car dealer. But I don't want to know what cars are in the game. I want it to be an adventure almost, so its a surprise every time I see a car I don't recognize.

AND

Even though it is very likely that all the cars in GT6 will have cockpit/interior view, I love the fun of seeing what certain cars interiors look like.
For example, in GT5, when you find a rare race car or something, all you get to see is the exterior. That's no fun. And on top of that, it sounds the same as most of the other race cars.

Idk how else to explain it. Basically, I want to hunt down cars, not know what cars are in the used dealer, and have cockpit/interior view for all cars.
That is all. :3

For the love of god add a proper bonet/dashboard camera veiw for all cars, driving from the cars bumper is jarring, roof camera is just ridiculous and I'm not a fan of cockpit views.

LOL do you drive the car while sitting on the hood in real life?

5) Online rooms should (or would be cool)have a set endurance section for a race that starts every 4 hrs. or so, for a 2-4hr endurance race that is categorized like a seasonal event, for anyone to join, with a host option or vote for rules & penalties settings.. or a live competition championship server.. Aiming high, as unlikely as it is, hehe

That would be AMAZING, although I don't think it would work well. :(

revamped physics engine that will allow you to perform wheelies and tripods. 👍
