I started playing at the start of the year am at level 40 A spec and 40 B spec now 100% game golded everything thes only 2 vettel challenges to gold then i have my platinum so for offline thes nothing to do

As for online same again allways the same old same old we need something new puting in the game like a drag racing track or more new tracks like silverstone

With the money they got from all the people that got the DLCs and Gran Turismo cant be that hard up to buy rights for to have porsche and to put some more new tracks in like come on they made millions from this game put some money back in for your fans !

I dont agree I think it is getting better and better

Dont agree at all. GT5 is the best there is on the PS3. It has a huge number of loyal returning customers.

Sounds like you got your moneys worth to me.

It's not just a case of being able to afford the rights for Porsche - don't EA have exclusive rights and they aren't selling.

Sounds to me like you've had your moneys worth out of GT5... either that or you need a break! There's loads to do. I often find the biggest problem is deciding what to do in the game. Why not try checking out some of the organised events here to get some ideas or get involved: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12

So you've got just about a year out of one game and that's a bad thing?

How many games last that long these days?

Can't see them getting the license to have porsche in the game as long as ea have exclusive rights, I remember reading turn 10 trying to negotiate with ea in getting the license for porsche in forza 4 but failed.

Some games you pay 60 dollars to just get 10 hours out of it.. This game is much longer to beat, money well spent. If you get bored after you beat all challenges, then mission accomplished.

Nah, i think tdu2 is better. Gt5 was good but it already bit the dust for me.

This game ages like fine wine and beautiful women. Gets better with all the minor meaningful updates, and restricted online pp rule racing. Still so many things to discover, this game is my addiction until GT6(?) / PS4.

I too was worried about what to do after A/B 40, but it's all about perfecting your favorite track(s) and rediscovering new car tunes and traits. The more you dive into the fine details of this game, where a single toe adjustment increment changes everything, well, that's when you know you spent wayy too much time lol

I can't wait to hear the wind on the Nür tonight, can anyone comment on how the Nur "Sounds" like now?

Somehow, this makes me think of this:

Relax he is not a loser I agree with him.

You've only played for a year and your getting tired of it. I've been playing GT since '98 and I still haven't gotten tired of this game yet.

You could always create another account and start over.

Each to their own but that's like comparing GT5 to NFS: The Run.

I have literally hundreds of cars to mod up and try on all these tracks, have yet to touch the Course Maker or Photo Mode. You must have been playing 24/6 or something. ;)

To my recollection we just recieved new cars and a whole new track! Also with the new update 2.02 new cars are added and new DLC will increase the car numbers even further. Sure new tracks would be awesome, but what you are describing isn't a wish for something new in GT5. You are asking something else as a racing game. That's not fair.

GT5 as a game has a lot to offer. Wether they add cars or tracks it will still be a driving game. Especially online. If you are getting bored with that, that's normal. But GT5 cannot change that. A least not as GT5, maybe GT6....

for what your pot may be worth, I love putting my nose to the wind, so any new immersion is my cup of tea :) cheers mate. now feck off! jk, happy holidays, ya bum. :)

GT5 is getting better and better. PD is making huge improvements all the time to try and make the game better and better.

Weekly races... Gift cars... DLC... etc... etc...

Love this game. It is the reason I bought a PS3. Can't wait to try some new cars tonight. :)

cant be that hard up to buy rights for to have porsche

Its pretty hard to buy something that isn't for sale...

I play games 20+ years and GT series is the only series that every instalment keeps on going even after the release of the next instalment.
No GT5 isnt dying in any way.
btw.. GT5 was released before 14 months. How many games after 14months are still in frond line and get major support from the fans and the devs?

Ye a was hiting it hard at the start of the year with friends doing big races to level up and must of done over a 1000 laps of nurburging just on free run lol

TDU2??? yikes. Well, no accounting for taste right?

As far as GT5 dying a slow death, well..all videogames start dying the second they are released. A slow death is better than most. For myself, I haven't even gotten tired of running laps at the Ring yet...

Tdu2? Have you seen the support that game gets? As for dlc gt5 beats it hands down
