Well many have tried, myself included. Getting that beast to actually hit 300 is easier said than done. You've proven with your photo it is possible, but getting there officially is another matter. I'm off to do more tests on my own S7.

Edit: 293.73mph If only it could take 70-shot nitrous...

Don't worry, my fault. Sorry if I was a little short with you earlier, I must have been in a pretty critical mood. I'll get your two new speeds on the leaderboard, the Nardo as well - nice job with that, by the way 👍
OK 👍 👍 👍 thanks for the work and no hard feelings and all.
it's just great to be part of this awkward gt4 loony incrowd.
cheers.

HoldenHSV
get the s7 to 300 then
 Maybe you have a point... :pAnd maybe I will!

I'll take that as a compliment :dopey: :)

I would share some more test news with you, but I haven't got any! Le Mans is taking up most of my time right now, live update feeds from Motor TV being transferred to forums is keeping me busy :sly:

does it have to be in 1 player mode cuz i've attained over 355 without nos with all 4 wheels on the ground just in a draft but it takes alot of skill and 2 drivers riding tail to nose down the straights working in symbiance but i bet with a few of these cars on your list 380 doesnt' seem too far fetched seeing as i acheived this on GT3

Yes, it does, because 1) drafting makes it way too easy and takes away from the aerodynamical part and 2) you can't get exact speeds from two player mode. Another thing is the fact that you're talking about GT3, the physics are so different now that no direct comparisons can be done.

i wonder if we can get the turbo diesel R10 up to 300 mph in GT5

i really bet the R10 is just an R8 claiming to be diesel to promote " bio fuels "
Maybe we can, hard to say yet.

It seems that you have never heard the sound of the R10, it's very different from the R8 and reveals that there is totally different technology under the hood - and why would they do that in the first place? The R8 was partially outdated already so they could get two birds with one stone by making a new diesel car. Oh, and diesel isn't actually bio fuel, that title belongs to alcohol- and gas-based fuels in my opinion.

I was just checking out this thread so i tried it and after a little while i got a 338.34 with the Toyota GT-One. Not all that impressive for that car but I was excited.

Aha, now I know who you are ;)

Just making sure, you did follow all of the rules outlined in Post #1? I have to ask before I put it on the leaderboard.

Before anyone asks, the speed's screenshot was emailed to me

Meh, I got bored doing laps at Le Mans in my pesky so I took it over to the test track and improved my record slightly: 335.52

Hey RedFordKiller, nice start! Hope to see more from you soon 👍

Good improvement, Opendriver, you're now sat 0.02mph below Alive Ghost's record in the 2004 Pescarolo... Think you can pull out of the slipstream and overtake? ;)

That's a decent start, 3-Wheel Drive, think you can get some more out of the car? Like the guys say, there's more there :p

one of my favorite cars. obviously lots of potential so i'll keep trying for more.
try taking it for a spin in gt mode, when fully modded, and you'll find no other car - especially from UK other than the jag xkr - that will run faster around midfield etc.

Don't worry, I know it can go much faster, and I'll push mine to its limits.

Yes it can MUCH faster, just ask FGT

Im kind of suprised that no one has attacked my GT1 record...well both of them at that...

Just been working on the Zondas...
btw DE, what happened to my speed 8 record on the leaderboard? its not there

Oh, don't think you're completely safe... I've gotten to 366.82 MPH, but stupidly didn't record it (saved the replay though:O). Several runs later, 366.79 popped up on the screen, which I DID record. I'm taking much needed rest at the moment, after ACL surgery & completing, in tandum, the 'Ring 24Hr for the umteenth time to complete my FGT collection:sly: (I keep winning that damn ugly purple/white one:censored:).

Nice Bentley speed opendriver! And of course, Bigracer, well done:tup:!
