Thanks Toronado, you're just in time for the last update :) the No-Nitrous speed is legit 👍

...As is the 365.25mph GT-One speed. Nice work!

About the quality. It's perfectly OK for this sort of thing, but what we talked about might need a little more. The same camera will probably be enough, but it would need to be done from the Replay Theatre with photo-camera zoom-in on the front wheels at the top speed. Lots of different camera angles would be helpful as well. We don't want any arguements.
Oh, and we might as well have a screenshot of the Session Record as well.

DO NOT POST NEW SPEEDS

As my signature says, I will be in Jersey from a few hours from now until late Friday night, and as such the leaderboard will not be updated until Sunday at the earliest. I will not be able to check this thread, and so any posts made between now and my return are very unlikely to be read by me.
Have fun, and see you all soon :)

i'm very curious about your new record MasterStorm......a new car?

Not a new car, but lets just say you won't be very happy when you hear what it is. :nervous:

Hmm I looked at you forums I-Runner, but I could not see which car the person is using. I found the max speed thread, but could not see close speeds to yours. I don't speak italian at all though!. 👍

Ah I found the correct thread now...

That's almost 20mph faster for that car than on here! I could not view the replay (I dont have MaxDrive/Sharkport), but if that's legit then I'm impressed!

Welcome to GTPlanet. I saw the speed on I-Runners site and I must say I was very impressed. 👍

I don't have any tricks... except maybe what I do with toe angle. That's not to say I havn't looked for some...

One thing I've found recently is that I've completely reversed some of my settings, with no noticeable difference, when I really think there would be (most noticeably with LSD, damper and stabiliser). This could just be the cars I'm using though...

That shouldn't be right. Hmmm. Must be the car. Your LSD settings directly control your cornering speed, perhaps even more so than tire compounds.

Well, I used to run 60/60/5, but now I've switched to 5/60/5. In the cars I've been driving lately, this seems to make little (if any) difference. That said, LSD acelleration may be 'too' strong at 60. I dont think LSD decelration makes any difference (as ideally, you wont ever decelerate). 👍

MasterStorm, the "no differences" is caused by the fact that the diff is locked under acceleration if your Acceleration value is 60. The Initial value plays no role if the independent value is maxed out, the same applies the other way round and to the minimum values too.

So, 60/5/5 is exactly the same as 60/60/60 and 5/5/5 is exactly the same as 5/60/60.

(Or so I have been told and it seems to make sense :p)
