Good read, thank you. It seems that the FF question has been covered before, but none the less i'm gonna go ahead and test out some other FF cars, to see how they do.

P.S. I'm totally flabbergasted as to after almost and entire year, this thread is STILL going! Hats off you your dedication.

I'm not trying to discourage people from trying FF cars, far from it infact, just I think that no cars will have the raw power to do it. Mind you, Dark Elite once said the same things about 350mph, so I could well be wrong.

The thread is still going because it's a very pure form of tuning, somthing which everyone can get involved in. With other tuning and racing, it can be quite track/driver specific, and you need to have good racing/driving skills. I also think that the ease of record keeping (due to only one track being used, and no partitioning of records by tyre type etc...) can give almost a competitive element for some.
 
The best I've gotten in the SRT4 is 247mph. I got 249 out of the Integra race car and Ozmac got just over 250mph out of it.

I can't imagine an FF doing much more than 250. With this group, when the right people get determined, I'd be suprised if someone doesn't get to around 260 or 270mph ... but astonished if anyone breaks 300mph!!
 
i no this is bit of topic but what about using the mega turbo cheat off of one of the cheat disks such as ARmax

if a ff car ever did go over 300 mph i reckon the tires would wear out before the end of the bend

i won't explain it, but I'm having a hunch, that SRT-4 could reach 260+..:trouble: you guessed, I'm going at it.. in 511bhp Neon :lol: "traction? maybe in the next county.."

edit: forgot to mention a bottle of giggles.. so, it's basically more like 600bhp Neon.
 
I know the SRT-4 won't pull 300, so I'm attacking a different car. Oh, and I noticed sucahyo parading the "Fastest 787B" around in his signature. So...

These really aren't new, truthfully, and are just some records from post #2737 back in May that DE missed.

I think you should keep speed update log too DE, everytime someone post time you note it, and use it to update leaderboard. This way if leaderboard get accidently delete or something, there is backup available.

As can I if you are to get too close. On the FF car progress, I can't do it. I got 262, then hit a wall. The car had considerably less power than I thought it would. I'll just go afte the No-NOS record now.

Trust me, there's no way the leaderboard can be lost. I have the temporary access file for your program, which is still working flawlessly 👍, two .htm files (one for the leaderboard and one the whole page) duplicated in a different folder, and of course the currently aired version on the host server. I think we'll be OK in pretty much any eventuality :dopey:

Anyways, nice job Toronado... And sorry for missing those the first time around. :guilty:

Oh, and as for the update to the 300mph App? Thanks, but the version I'm using now is all I could want :) it does the job perfectly, and I think any more done to it and it might start to get overladen and overcomplicated. Absolutely no offence meant, you've done a great job with it and I don't need anything more. Thanks a lot for your time and effort, it's saved a lot of mine! 👍 👍

But Leo is quite correct. While I'm away, I'd like for nobody to post new speeds - it's unlikely that I'll have time to read back on all I've missed, so only discussion of tuning, technique and so on should be posted. I'll make sure you know when I leave ;) :lol:

EDIT - Something for you to fight over while I'm away, I wonder if anyone can get a Subaru Impreza WRX STi Spec.C to 300mph... I briefly tested one this evening, and it is a very capable car, breaking 280mph with only 522bhp is very impressive. But, it does hit an aerodynamic wall around 270mph, so it will be interesting to see if anyone can overcome it. Have fun :)
Oh, and you will have a pleasant surprise when you see the nitrous settings!

I did a couple of runs with second-hand-mary TS020, and cracked 321 No NOS and 365 total. The videos of both should be up tommorow or tonight. One of them. I have a good feeling that if I could be bothered to find out what happened to my new TS020 I could take the overall record with these settings.
