ok, i have been absent for quite a few days, but as i recall, the first person, and in my opinion, the person with the best results with the saleen s7 was......well, me.....it has gone 297 for me, and then i got pissed.....so, it remains....in my garage, as about 47th driven....but it can, and under my talent, will do 300, i can guruntee that.....you new comers need to realize one thing....its one thing to have NOS, but its another thing to know when to kick in the NOS, its all about timeing my friends.....all about timeing....well now that i have left you with these words to tumble around your brain, i shall go, you'll hear from me later....peace

Ill say again...

Ive gotten My Speed 12 & Toyota Supra past 300mph no wheelie about 6 months ago, bolth Street cars. However Iwasnt the first to break 300, I did use my own settings to do so. I was the first to break 310mph NO wheelie & set the Bar at just over 350mph, & First to Break 380mph with a wheelie. Click here for 304mph Speed 12 Settings

Just to set the record straight

As I recall 304mph in a Speed 12 is Faster then 297mph :crazy: & it was Done By some OTHER DUDE before me Like back in March who got to like 302 or 303, I toped by a tincy little bit, & I created my set up and posted it April 9th.
 
Rac3rX, we heard/read that the first time. However, the Speed 12 is not a street car, it is a racing car. The Toyota Supra is a street car but video proof will be needed for that as it is very much tried and tested by a lot of people. You are by no means the first to break 310mph, or even 380 by glitching. The 297 Lowizle mentioned was not for the Speed 12, in fact I think he ignored your post.

330mph in the 88C-V is a long way off the Lord God couttsey's record. 350 in the GT-One will need video proof because the car is extremely liable to wheelie. If you'd read the full thread that post might have been of more use.

(Audi R8 still at 326, no testing time :ouch:!)

And Dark Elite I think you have missed out on a third important category at this thread: non-nitrous speeds beyond 300mph. Maybe it's too hard?

I've managed it in the Nissan, the Minolta and the Pescarolo so far, but so far my best effort and I suspect the best effort here, is in the Chaparral 2D. Or is Couttsey's 312 without nitrous?

As penance for your rudeness Toronado, perhaps you could have a go at getting the Chaparral 2D over 307.49 mph. 300mph without nitrous - that sorts out the men from the boys. Good luck, you seem to have a few clues.

I was just pointing out that it sems unlikely that only one person gets above 340 with the R92CP yet you above get that high. No offense, and it's nothing personal (hell, even if Dark Elite called that out I would have raised the BS flag), but I don't think that the car is cabable of that speed. I know the Minolta is cabable of speeds that high, because barely messing with the settings got the MINOLTA to 330, with the other two speeds requiring more effort in settings tuning.
And congratualations with the Lotus. This could be a fine little war. By the way, the Chaparral is dead to me. :)
 
Peace. The Nissan can go that fast, but that will be proved another day.

Give the Chaparral a go. Only three speeds in the gearbox, so it makes a mockery of people who simplistically think that more gears equals more speed.

And as you cannot buy nitrous for it, it's one car where your non-nitrous speeds are totally legit. I like the way it works, and also I like the fact that it's a very fast old guy (a bit like me).

Ummm The TVR Cerebra Speed 12 IS A STREET CAR, Bring it to the "Premium Sports Lounge" in the Extream Hall. "Production" Cars Only, and this Beast is able to race. And What about it makes you think its a "Race" Car???? :crazy: :crazy:

My Minolta has been Going 333.33 WITH SETTINGS AND PROOF SINCE APRIL 13th & it goes 365 on 2 wheels. :crazy: :crazy:

UMmmmm, Yes I was the First past 310mph, Pass 320mph, pass 330mph, pass 340mph, pass 350mph, all on 4 wheels and I Have Set The Bar. And I Blew all those speeds away on 2 wheels.

& My Audi R8 Goes 334mph on 4 wheels & 346 on 2 since April 22

That didn't really need asking...
The only catagories there is are racing and road, not nitrous and not as it's too hard to prove a non-nitrous speed with any car that can take nitro. I like your fast old guy description!

Hmm.. BTW, was Cerbera Speed 12 ever sold for street use? If I recall right, the owner of TVR, or was it the designer of the car, was frightened when he test drove that car, and thus cancelled the road car production..

Its Like a AMG SL65 You have to be qualified By TVR to buy.

Like Ferarri you need certain requirements to buy a Enzo (Previously owned specific modles of Ferarri, ect)
 
Today after winning TVR Cerbera Speed 12 with my Griffith 500 (which is great too), I decided to see what the thing would do. So I went about changing the oil and strapping on all the parts I could. I took her out to the test track and got over 280 pretty quick. Finally after about 15 min I was at 289mph! I could see that 300 would be possible. I pushed and pushed messing with the gear ratios till I found the right setup. It seems like a very odd ratio, but it seemed to work as indicated by the following screenshot:

So then I decided to look on the net for people who did 300mph or over and it brought me here! Amazing how you guys were just talking about the Speed 12. As for it being a "road car," all I can say is that it IS 'Street Legal,' unlike most race cars. Also, as I have seen mentioned, it can be entered in races which don't allow race cars.

BTW... First time going 300MPH!! WOOHOO!!

Reset and follow step for setting gears corectly, They should work (As others tested and confirmed in the thread) Gears need to be reset by the "Default" button Before imputting the settings.

And use the second set as the First is a dedicated "Race" Set up and not geared for Top Speed.

My Cerbera is a little old and has some miles on her but will still hit it with the right timing for 6th gear and NoS.

If you still have trouble, the only thing I can think of is Maybe you forgot to go Backwards arround the track.

I have plenty of track, it's just maxing out at 297mph. The gears wont go any higher. Could you please tell me what the ratios are? I noticed that your final gear ratio and mine were the same. Here's how I had mine set up:

1st: 3.575
2nd: 2.380
3rd: 1.724
4th: 1.314
5th: 1.053
6th: 0.811
Final: 2.575
Auto: (N/A once you change each gear's ratio manually)

Rac3rX I don't care how much you shout or insult, the TVR Speed 12 car in the game was never made for the road and so it is not a road car. Nice to see you've calmed down a bit.

Leo, go for it with the Supra we still need a confirmed 300mph run with it! The 297mph wall will be overcome with the Esprit fairly easily! :p

To all who got 300mph in the Speed 12, especially Lycanthor as it's not a great first time car, congratulations! I still haven't done it because I class it as a waste of money :p but if I see a V8S at a used car garage I'll buy that and win the Speed 12 with it :sly: !

Use The setting Insure your using a Supercharger Not a Turbo.
