Would you be able to fit them all into your sig, MS?:scared:

DE, a while back you were commenting on the Tommy Kaira (?), regarding the relative ease required to wheelie it. Maybe, for the sake of accuracy, a shot of the the car as it crosses the speed trap along with the standard 'Session Record' screenshot would eliminate doubt amongst speeds <350. Just a thought.

I hope so.

Certainly for record breaking runs this should be the case. Either that or video evidence...

Alternatively I could just post all my new speeds. ;)

Go for it 👍

But, for the time being at least, the Speed 8, '04 Pesky, Sauber, BMW, R390 Race Car, and 787B belong to me

a shot of the the car as it crosses the speed trap

Not a bad idea, however I think that is too easy to game - all one needs to do is get off the throttle at the very end of the run to drop the wheels while still having wheelied to get the posted speed. In fact, I have had any number of (un-submitted) runs where the car wheelied but crossed the finish line on the ground as the NOS ran out a short distance from the line.

Well, the only road car I have any problem with is the Tommy kaira - it really is extremely easy, thanks to the huge downforce, whereas making most other roadcars wheelie is impossible. So, the only car I would consider implementing something for is the Tommy kaira, but the current record for it stands very high and I'm not sure we could ask for verification this long after it was posted...

The method me and I-Runner use to get the Tommy Kaira ZZ-II so fast, it's not even close to doing a wheelie. I think I have a 329.xx mph recording somewhere, and theres always the 327.xx run I have uploaded on YouTube to vouch for that.

Bloody hell it's been a long time since I have been on here... My last post was November 2005... LOL

Told you I was busy with the restaurant.
I haven't played GT4 since then either.

My memory card got lost so I've recently spent the last month or two getting back my 100% Game completion title.

I was fiddling around with gears on the Minolta and made it go over 300MPH without even thinking about it... Then I remembered "Oh bloody hell, I'm a member of that GT4 forum thing, I better go say Hi again"

Well here I am, but it's been so long since I tried to make my car go fast I'm finding it difficult tuning cars how I used to. Can't seem to make the Minolta go much past 300 and the GTONE either. I remember in the old days I got the Minolta past 360 but still couldn't get the GTONE past 320...

I've come back really for one thing. To ask for 3 car setups (Duck doesn't supply what I need)

I'd like... (If someone could e-mail them to me)

- Settings to make the Minolta go over 300 with room for improvement.
- Settings for the GTONE to go over 300 with room for improvement
- A really good "all round" setting for the Sauber Mercedes which can do 250+ easily

After this I doubt I’ll post again, I'm not into this "Beat everyone's record" attitude though some of the new LSR's I’ve seen are really impressive.

Anyway, until next time, Farewell.

If only the rest of us could 'forget' about GTP...

I'm disappointed... You're back to 100% game completion, so you're clearly not short of free time, so why do you not do it yourself? Everyone else had to :p :dopey:

Well if it is one of my records you're close to, then a battle might be unavoidable! 👍

It's just a shame I've been so busy these last few weeks... :(

Yes DE, back to 100%, but if you also read in the post, It took me months which means I did a little bit here and a little bit there.

Tuning cars on the other hand takes solid patience. You can't just turn the game off and come back the next day for another crack at it. I can't anyway, too tired from work to fiddle about with all them big numbers.

Slap on the PS2, win a few races, Not much time consumed and you don't even need to be fully alert, the AI in that game really isn't that challenging Even the Endurance races are easy, the 24hr ones especially. Spend a few hours, put it on pause and come back the next day to do a few more hours. Yeah a waste on the electricity bill but it's not very challenging.

Fiddling around and trying to remember settings and ratios for your car whilst half asleep though is a different matter altogether.

It was a simple request though. If no one will help me out then so be it. I'm not too worried. Thanks anyway.

I guess your A-Spec points average isn't all that high, then ;) I see you're just over 50 000pts from your signature, but you don't mention the number of races.

I look forward to your new speed, Viper, keep at it!

I reached exactly 500km/h or 311,3 mph with a r89c. I entered a race and combined nitro with slipstreaming. of course with stage 4 turbo and auto setting to 25. However, i watched a video in youtube and a guy reached 580 km/h or 361 mph. Maybe its gameshark.

No, no gameshark - no cheats of any kind. All the speeds you see are just the result of tuning settings. You'll find all the rules we run under in the first post in this thread.

GT_Jim]Oh s***....i realised that the guy made the wheelie trick....but i don't know the settings to do this....
Perhaps you should take the time to have a look at our Leaderboard, where you'll find people who can go a full ten miles per hour faster than the video you've linked to, with all four wheels flat to the track. ;) Click Here.

Oh, and by the way, CV = PS = HP as far as GT4 is concerned.
I believe.
