If you remember, I had a mishap with my Playstation 2 a few months ago, slightly damaging both the console and GT4 disc inside. Well I found out about 6 weeks ago that the scratches to the disc causes GT4 to lock up whenever I try to view the Supra RZ in my garage, making it currently impossible for me to use the car.

I might see if theystill make Crystal-Disc. That stuff was awesome at repairing scratched discs. Also over the Christmas weeks (when I stay with my parents), I have access to a slimline PS2 which is far better at reading discs than my battered old machine.

If I can get it working... then it's on! 👍
 
sorry to hear that about your ps2!! i have a silver slim-line and it really is better than the old black-bucket!!

Oh, my PS2 and GT4 both work fine, it's just the Supra RZ which doesn't. :(

Well, sure, someone does have the settings :sly:, but they're a closely guarded secret.

Read through some of this thread, do a search, you should be able to find enough info to get started. Good Luck 👍

However, if you want this to go onto the leaderboard you need to prove it with a shot of the Session Record screen - all the rules are in the first post of this thread.

Congrats man, I've been doing so long trying to get over 300 mph, my record is now at 304 but you guys just keep going, I can't follow :lol:

yes i still dont know what u guys mean by the gt3 glitch though ive gotten my car up to 250 to 260 and pled a wheelie instantly:) ;tdown
 
Its an infamous glitch in GT3 which allows you to wheelie and attain theoretically impossible speeds. Its due to a flaw in the GT3 physics engine, and in GT4 its been reduced somewhat. You can still wheelie in GT4, though.

Besides, this is a GT4 section of the forum; and this thread is only for legitimate runs only, which means ABSOLUTELY NO WHEELIEING!!!

I did not suggest anything was wrong, I usually check with new tuners to ensure that they haven't overlooked or broken any of the rules outlined in Post 1, and that is what I was doing. :odd:

i was trying the chapparal 2J and its impossible because you cant equip it with nitrous but i got it to around 450 km/h.
