lol a saleen...i wouldnt think so either but it might be able to.

im doing the formula gt right now too. 👍
and its pretty time consuming all right...a little annoying too although fairly easy

Yes the Formula GT are some very easy races if you A spec. But I can't hardely win in B-Spec but thats me I have never been much of a B-Spec guy. Any ways back to 300mph have you ever tried the Formula GT? I was mad I couldn't even get close since you can't buy NO2. And I figured the 7 gears would help but they don't they just make a big mess of things.

Also this little war that has come about between some good tuners is rather entertaining. I think this could become pretty intence.

I'm assuming the forced-on high downforce, which limits the playground for the front, together with lack of nitrous pretty much cripples the chances for 300MPH attempts...

I tried again with the Saleen. 292.60...... Tire selection helped by 1.4 mph. Changing spring settings didn't make much difference. Stringer LDS settings did but not by much. ....If only I had 20 more hp.... or lost an extra 50 kg. or ....... Oh well. Maybe I'll try the Cadillac.
Formula GT??? the open wheel car?? i'm not sure if it is, but if so then, too much downforce and not enough torque....could be wrong though.

the Formula GT can't make it, we had this topic sooo often now, it really starts to get boring i think!! the Cadillac Cien can do over 300mph.

What kind of tires did you use if you don't mind sharing that information with me.

I am sorry about the double post but I have a speed to post.

Turns out that, by pure chance, it wasn't a double-post anyway :p

There's no reason why you couldn't have edited in that speed, anyway, 05GT05... :odd:

Anyway, well done, and welcome to roosskiy paryen! Let's hope you can both improve :)

The Leaderboard server is failing once again, but those speeds are in the database ready. 👍

I've toyed around with the Takata NSX - on paper, it seems like it can do the job. Lots of rear downforce, not too much front, 920HP - weaker cars did 300. Yet I'm stuck on 270MPH, so I guess that one's out.
And why isn't my speed on the board? I ran the TVR to 307 back then...

I haven't got you listed in the database, Gingiba - what post number did you put up that speed with its photo? I certainly don't recall seeing a post with a Session Record photo from you, but it's possible that it's slipped my mind.

*raises hand*

I have a question for the guys who raced past the barrier with the 787B:
My front end is starting to "hop" at 270mph, and I'm sure this is robbing me of the 3mph I need to cross the 300 barrier.

Any tuning suggestions?

This is basically the excessive vibrations caused by travelling so quickly, and in race cars with a low ride height and lots of downforce it is pretty unavoidable. The best method of getting around it is to simply soften the springs - but if you've already done this, you will more than likely have to work around it.

I havn't dropped them too far yet, I think I had them at 10.8 and 9 F/R.

Where should I have the Aerodynamics? I have them at minimum levels right now.

Thanks for the info.

Yes, because it proves unquestionably that you did the speed and took the photo :)

We've never had such a photo before, and I like to think that there's no need for this sort of proof - I should hope that nobody will ever attempt plagiarism with 300mph speeds - but it is sort of comforting to see that it's your speed.

Your speed is now in the database, ready for the server to decide it would like to update... It's once in a blue moon these days :ouch:
