That's true, the rules do not mention anything about outright lies, but I left that out in the hope that it would never be needed. Although, I think I shall have to edit the first post to put slightly more emphasis on 'your' speed. Cheers.
AUP Section #1
- Thou shall not post any material that is knowingly false, misleading, or inaccurate.
Agreed. I guess the rules should just have one rule reminding people that all of the terms outlined in the AUP additionally apply.I think the 'outright lies' section is covered by the AUP?
The Tommy Kaira ZZ-II. The peak speed I've reach is 334.51mph, with another run reaching 334.42mph. The recording is at 333.85mph, but as I said before, it's not a capture card job like my usual efforts. Hopefully I can reproduce/increase the speed in the next few days once I am able to use my capture card again.i'm curious about the car you used MStorm
By the way, I won't be here from Sunday afternoon until Thursday - try to avoid posting any speeds in that time.
*raises eyebrows*Please do not PM me regarding 300mph Club membership - all you need to know is in this first post, and if you have any questions they should be posted here
Generally your suspension should be soft, so that you can keep traction at high speeds. Lowest ride height and downforce isn't the best way to high speed either (I don't want to give too much away, but basically this leads to sub-optimal traction in the driving/rear wheels). Generally most people only consider the aerodynamics of that car, but that's pointless if you cannot transfer the engines power efficiently enough to make use of it....what else can i do to get more speed out of the car?
Good luck! See if it really is an equal to the R92CP... PAL + an unhealthy addiction to the Nordschleife = quick completionToronadoOn a completely unrelated note, I have now completed Mission 34. This both means that this game won't take the equivalent of 17 in-game years to complete like it did last time, and that I know have a new car to play with.
I'll be interested to see where that gets you...ToronadoI'm also thinking about playing around with the Zonda, while I'm at it.
Useful help, well done 👍mt00frewin there is a very good post at #815 to tell you how to do this. heres the link: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpo...&postcount=815![]()
Really? I mustn't have been paying attention when this happened...mt00i want to try the toyota gt-one because some people have got 375mph
I like this new way of thinkingMS(I don't want to give too much away)
I'd love to say that that's because of how long ago I last changed a class record, but I never could remember that first time!MSOh... and DE, you need to update the Hall of Fame. The road car record still says I-Runner.![]()
Thanks. The old one became too much hassle trying to fit all the records in!I like your new signature, MS![]()
Dark EliteReally? I mustn't have been paying attention when this happened...![]()
I'm also thinking about playing around with the Zonda, while I'm at it.
I also hope this doesn't turn into a Ford GT/S7 scenario.
MSI thought about putting 'Birth of the 325mph Skyline', but I managed to resist the temptation.![]()
OpendriverI was aroun 291
Annoying but humblingToronadoafter two runs, at 297.92 mph
Don't get him started on the S7GingibaCare to elaborate on this one, for a 300MPH-newcomer?
Thousands. Yes. I'm pathetic. And one could argue that the GT is worse, as it took me about 500 miles in each of the three versions of the road car to realise that none of them could do it. Tough. The S7 is easier to blacklist than three versions of a car when people only think 2 versions exist. It took hundreds (thousands?) of miles to finally discover that some sort of curse is upon the Saleen, and it absolutely will not do 300mph. The GT is similar, although a little less frustrating (apparently)
We are talking about Gran Turismo 4. Since when have real world physics applied to anything, especially top speed testing. Either way, if I owned an S7 in my new game, I would go for it. When I get a new S7, I probably will.
People usually think that there is just the GT '02 and GT '05.And two versions?
They are different cars in performance as well.GingibaAlso some info on the Ford GT - during hybridding, I mentioned the game lists the no-stripes as a different version:
- 8D 07 dt_ford_gt_05_a
- 8E 0A dt_ford_gt_no_stripe_05_a
- FE 06 dt_ford_gt_concept_dmv_02_a
- 5C 06 dt_ford_gt_concept_gulf_02_a (Probably the '02 Race concept in Gulf livery)
- 0B 0A dt_ford_gt_lm_sp2_04_a (Probably the '04 LM-II racecar)
