Actually, Ozmac's speed is confirmed :) so we do have a definite 300mph Supra pilot

I'll update the leaderboard with your R92CP speed too. Not bad at all, but not quite topped mine :p

yeah not quite as fast,.... but still trying to keep them front wheels down.
i know how strict that rule is, and i dont want to make a hit and miss on that one.

Hmm... I was going to try a 300SX at one point but then I got sidetracked with overpowered Skyline 34s and trying to get them there instead :lol:

I thought the list was by Famine but I can't remember where it was :blush: LOL I'm only on day... 900-odd.

EDIT - smuttney (posted at the same time :rolleyes: ) I haven't broken any game either (fingers crossed) but my old DualShock's pretty done in :p

plain bad luck. first one got stolen from me :mad: second got destroyed three days ago.. :( I hope that I'll have btter luck with next one.. :indiff:

and 300ZX seems to be quite promising, got her up to 295 mph before that horrible accident happened..

303.66 miles per hour, using the Nissan Black race car (can't remember the exact name).

Used the 25 setting, and lowering the final gear to .63; used super soft tires; used nitrous set to full power, and let it loose near the end of the turn. Unfortunately, the nitrous ran out before I could cross the finish line.

And you don't have to put me on the leaderboard. I'm too lazy to take a picture. x__X

Are you sure? I've gotten it to go into the early 290's. I should try the GT '02 though to double check. I'm guessing the LM will go just as fast, as they aren't very torquey, especially when compared to the normal versions oddly enough.
Anyways, I'm currently thinking about trying a car from the land of the rising sun. I think it could do it...

Give it a shot, you never know, you might be able to squeeze her up there.

I havnt played with her for like 6 months, But Im really not seeing her getting too much higher.

But it would be cool if you could pull it off.

Anyways, DE, I have a question. If you ran a car that could be used with nitrous up to 300 without nitrous, that would require a replay, right?
 
[insert name], well done with the R92CP (I assume that is what you mean, but it may be the R390). Some pointers for the future could be to NEVER use R5 tyres, they slow you down a lot and to minimize front downforce as much as you can. The record for the R92CP is 330-ish mph, so there's much more in it!

Toronado, if you ran a car that CAN take nitrous WITHOUT nitrous then yes I would need a replay because there's no other way to show it's not on the bottle.

About the GT, I bet I know someone who would enjoy being the first to get it there :lol: I'll send him a PM. I don't think the roadcar production GT could get there, but if someone had a go with the GT Race Car LM SpecII that might do it. This talk of GTs has given me an idea, which I have all day to implement to my best effect so you'll see what I'm talking about soon 👍

Oh, and Toronado what Japanese import would that be? There's plenty to choose from :p

:lol: I think the only GT-R that can do it is the ..... ....... ..-. .-.... (correct number of dots :p), which I'll probably buy to try out. So much power, surely it'll overcome the aerodynamic problems?

Or maybe I'll try out my latest inspiration from days of old.. I'm actually going for the Fastest Old Man record, as it was christened by Ozmac :lol: but my car isn't as old as the Chappy. Oh well if it goes over 300 I'll be happy :)

EDIT - Oh yeah my little project was the Ford GT40, which failed completely :irked: PD hate it utterly, I suppose it wouldn't do 300mph...
