Hey DE, remember that whole 6.2 Mile thing and the "fastest production V6" thing that Leonidae was after and the whole "fastest production car" thing I'm always after? Well, holy frickin' crap.

That is after 8 minutes. Holy crap. Thank PD for the 6.2 mile 3000GT. Thank PD for all 4 of them. I have 2 more 3000GT VR-4's to try still.

hey tornado, respect for your 3000GT-record, i've tried this car often but couldn't get more out of it than i think was 295mph.....how did you do that speed?

and i got .. 324,28 Mph

You won't be surprised, my attempt was a miserable failure. I tried using the Toyota 7 as I thought that 1195 bhp would be more than enough.

276,09 mph... it wasn't enough.

Oops, I missed that post before :rolleyes: sorry! That's a terrible shame... I had more or less the same with the Chaparral 2J, but it's just not gonna get there. That just proves the long-believed idea, well my long idea at least, that the Seven just isn't built for flat-out speed. Ah well, try again with something new :)

To celebrate 1000 posts, later today I will post up pics of my new record breaking car. It beats an very old record and also accomplishes something I obssesed over quite a while ago. And DE, the Mitsu went 318.2, not 316.2. No matter though, I beat that yesterday and will also post up my new speed up later today.

I finally did it (well, in all honesty, I did it a week and a half ago, but I was after the record). I'm happy now.

355.55 in the Minolta. Got the settings from gt4tuneshop.com. Surprizingly, they actually work.

No pics, tho. :indiff:

Edit: my bad.

Didn't read the 1st post enuff....

But I used NOS ( I don't find it 'cheating') and I don't really know what the 'wheelie' trick is supposed to do. I used it in 3, but it doesn't really work in 4.

Oh, well. 355 is still formidible.
