Occasionally, but only if I'm in a good mood Usually I don't allow it, especially for new members who might not honestly know if the car wheelies or not, but sometimes I let old hands go up without a photo. Most experienced 300mph pilots know to get a photo anyway

Did you post a photo, Nurbfanatic? If you did, I must've missed it, sorry! Could you link me to it?

Haha, sorry, i thought you only needed a photo for 350+ records. I don't have a capture card, is there any way to do it from a replay? I can run it again, if needed.

A photo isn't enough for 350mph plus

I don't think any of us use capture cards for photos - we use digital cameras to take photos of the Session Record screen, so you'll need to do the run again to get that 👍

That speed probably took some doing DE. But far as my knowledge goes I remember you saying that a speed that is higher is replaced by the members speed that is lower.

You do have a point, which I knew someone would mention , but there was no instructions given with the photo STLbarcelona posted, so I assumed to apply the normal rules. Anyone can request a leaderboard entry be deleted and replaced with a worse one but I won't do it unless it is requested (if that makes sense)

What you have all said is correct, but I should make it clear that if you really want a speed replacing with a slower one, say so! The reason it hasn't happened before is that nobody has asked before.

Thanks (I think ). I see that now... Your CLK-GTR doubles? That's not meant to be there, I must've missed the fact that you already had a CLK-GTR speed when putting up the other one nobody is supposed to have two entries for the same car! I'll fix that at the next update.

I still dont know why my toyota GT1 speed of 349.53 was all of a sudden "gone"?

Opendriver, I had it on the Leaderboard as 'unverified', which I guessed was because I was waiting for some proof of it, but it'd been there for some time so I took it off. If you did supply a photo, sorry, it should still be on there!

(And that dodgy link is to your avatar, rather than a photo as I thought it might be but it's a good use of it... )

That's a shame blue_sharky, if you can't get access to a camera and you really want your speed verified, you could PM me your settings for me to test myself, if you like?

im not going to search through al 96 pages of the thred but I could have sworn that I posted a picture of the wheels at 362 even though the speed that I was trying to prove was 349

so either way, the wheels were on the ground, and we all know(at least most of us who know how to fine tune the GT1) this can can handle 360+ speeds all day without lifting an inch

I'm not doubting the proof, a Session Record shot is perfectly alright because I know the car is capable. I just don't remember seeing a session record shot...

yeah I'd like to go faster but seems like its the limit in my ability - the 88C-V didn't crack 320mph, when other people have managed to bring it over 340mph! I did keep the setting though, although its only for transmission...I'll put up as far as I can remember

Transmission:
- Auto: 25
- Final Drive: 3.000
- No changes to the individual gears.

Suspension:
- Spring Rate: Front - at the second to the last line to the right
Rear - same
- Shocks: Bound - 8 front + back
Rebound - 8 front + back
- Ride height: 55mm front + back
- no changes made to other suspension components

Downforce:
- Front: lowest
- Back: lowest

Nitrous:
- 70 (most powerful)

Tires:
- Racing Medium front + rear

I think this is why your car can't reach higher speed. Auto 25 will only get you to 318mph only. If you want to be faster play around with the gear.

Here is the altenative:

• Change final drive to 3.000
• change auto to 24, and then to 25
• change final drive to lower final drive (depend on the top speed goal).

My transmission

• Change final drive to 5.000
• change auto to 2, and then to 1
• change final drive to 2.000
• change 5th gear to 1.025 for 340mph target

Or you can use my gear calculator. You can use this for your 88C-V too.

BTW, can my R92CP also be listed in the leaderboard only by session record photo only?

Thanks for helping out with those gear settings. There's also a lot of suspension tuning in there - it's not ideal. Try out sucahyo's gear settings, GT4_Rule, and see what you get

have a run with some japanese twinturbo nutter. Me and several others have coaxed Supra RZ (6.2miler) past 300mph. and I believe that Nissan 300ZX twinturbo (6.2 miler too) is able to do it. this far I've pushed it to 295mph.. and that's about it. I bet there's more to come.. someday.
