Alternate solution to proof...

Find a mate in Melbourne who either has a Max drive, or can burn a video and send or take your memcard to him/her.

If you only have one memcard, you must weigh the difference between having your LSR verified and being without your memcard for a few days, or not.

if any1 wants a road car that can do over 300... try the Zonda... i messed for all off 30 seconds and got just under 305mph out of it... bit of fine tuning and i'm sure some1 can get a lot more than i did...

I can't get the darn thing past 297.94
Any advice on gettin this thing beyond there??

try do it like this;
springs F/R
4.0/4.0
rideheight
max/ lowest
bound
1/1
rebound
1/1 or 2/2
camber and toe 0.0
stabilisers
2/2 or 4/4 for the turn

see if this helps.

Hey, I've got a new car to the group this time.

The Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car
300.08 mph

Took me awhile, but u guys can probably beat that handily.

Oh, and I've been trying with the Jag XJR-9, but it has no nitrous (albeit 1168 hp). Been up to 292, but can't squeeze out any more. Toronado, maybe u can do it since you were able to with that chaparral.

Edit: watch out for a wheelie on that xjr. thought i had it, but saw the wheels were off on the replay.

weell still workin with the zonda, cant get past 293 now. I'll update this post with settings in a few. I need a smoke since well I've been going at this for a few hours now.

edit:
Tranny settings:
1 4.410
2 2.685
3 1.846
4 1.346
5 .963
6 .728

final: 2.595
auto: 25

Suspension:
springs f 6.5 r 6.5
ride height f max/ r lowest
bound 1/1
rebound 2/2
camber and toe 0
stabilisers 4/4

It seems to run out of power at the 290 mark and just crawls from there.
5th and 6th gear are set all the way to the left. NOS is set to 50.
I have tried using the lower, middle, and high areas of the corner to see if that changes anything, to no avail.
Also it shifts to 6th at about 230-235 depending if I hold R2.
Any words of advice? I'm thinking the lower gears probably need to be tuned abit, but I'm not sure. Still new at this stuff.

Use manual gearshifts!!! And lower springs as low as possible.

Who am I kidding? I´m gonna have to do this myself, to see how the Zonda works. By the way, wich one are you using? The only one I think is able to achive 300 is the 7.3 model.
Will post settings as soon as possible.

And by manual shifts do you mean use manual trans or hold each gear to redline with R2?
And this car has been the most difficult for me to get to the 300 mark

I went after it, got a good 292-ish using my generic top speed settings, and haven't used it since. It might be able to do it. I don't know.
Ford GT '02 Progress: 297.91 MPH
Ford GT '05 (striped): 298.62 MPH
Ford GT '05 (solid): 298.83 MPH
Saleen S7 Progress: 298.27 MPH
I'm starting to dislike these cars.

my Porsche CTR2 '86 hits over 407 km/h
You can get at least 50+ km/h more out of that car. It won't do 483.3. Keep trying though!

300.jpg

it says 309.08, right after that I did this:

ive done 312 but lost my settings, but i have the replay-does anyone know how to put in a video?

GT Pro
The Land Speed Record Holder is back!!!!

New record is 379.34mph In A Toyota GT-One!!!

Although, I wish I had a Max Drive or something to prove it to you all.
I have it saved on my memory card though.

Oh well, Good luck to ya'll anyway!
Sorry, but such a speed without any form of proof is unacceptable. I would need an extremely clear video for a speed like that.

Team666
Why post it if you´re not going to prove it? You will indeed get properly flamed for such a statement without proof.
Will he? Hopefully not now that Rac3rX is banned... Certainly I don't go off on one at someone who doesn't prove their times just for stating them!

Ford 429 Hemi
I have the whole car all the way down, spring rate is at it's highest.
For everyone's reference, that's how not to do it.

opendriver19a, please remove that excessive photo from your post, all it's doing is screwing up the posts. Thanks. I can't accept that photo as proof because it does not show the car, sorry.

Keep on trying with the Yankee blocks, Toronado!

Nice going seoultrain, I'm always happy to see a new British car in the club! Your CLK-GTR is verified too.

Leaderboard will be updated when I have a little more time.

Sorry if I caused any trouble with my statement of 379.43mph, Dark Elite. ;)

I can understand why you don't believe me, but mark my words, I will prove it! 👍

All I need to know is if a standard USB drive such as a 'Sony Micro Vault' be able to transfer my game save replay from my memory card and then on to my computer?

Plus they are 2.0 now, so will it be compatible with my Playstation 2, I purchased it around 2001-2002.

Any help or answers would be greatly appreciated. 👍 :sly:

Search Kemosabe

You need a Max Drive, AR Max or Xport to transfer a replay. A normal USB drive will not work.

Awright, I did pass the 300 mark just barely, so try this and see how much you can develop it from there;
F/R
Tyres R1/R5

Nitro 50

Springs 6.5/6.5
Rideheight 53/53
Damper Bound 1/1
Damper Rebound 5/5
Camber 1.0/0.0
Stabilisers 4/4

Gears (Slide final to 5.500, then Auto to 20 and adjust accordingly)
1 2.245
2 1.602
3 1.069
4 0.772
5 0.587
6 0.471
F 3.775
A 20

LSD
50/60/55

Anything not mensioned are set to 0 or does not matter.

Oh, and ride high on the banking!

Hehehe, nearly forgot this place, as you can tell, I'm not much of a forum person unless I have something to talk about... Work been hectic recently, so many customers close to Christmas, the restaurant is packed and hours are getting longer.

Anyhow, I clicked my bookmark which brings me directly to this topic and read through the posts from the last one I typed; I couldn't help but notice some Idiot claiming to of pushed the Toyota GT-One up to 397MPH...
I mean, 370 Itself was hard for me to believe because the GT-ONE Seriously does not have very powerful torque at that higher end. But with the help of NOS that guy pulled it off quite nicely.

But some punk comes along and claims to of hit nearly 400MPH in a car that simply does NOT posses the kind of power to pull it off. Personally I don't even think the Minolta could pull that kind of speed either, not only does it break the laws of physics, down force would be so strong at that point it would slow the car down, unless it had over 1500BHP or bloody Jet Engines strapped to it.

Anyway, must dash, still busy, But if I were you guys, I would take that guys "397MPH" with a pinch of salt...

Chill out... We know it was kph, the guy said he wasn't sure whether it was kilometres or miles, so don't worry about yelling out at him. Again I've got to remind you that power isn't everything, 'unless it had over 1500BHP'... Look at the Escudo PP.

Sorry about that, I got the wrong person.
I was referring to GT Pro whom was bragging about being the new Land Speed Holder, the GT-ONE went 379 (not the 390 one)
So now my previous post is totally out of proportion because I was talking about the wrong guy
Nevertheless, 379 Is still pretty Farfetched for a GT-ONE

And to Dark Elite who said something about the Escudo...
What about it? Stock 900BHP and can hit 320MPH
What point were you trying to make?

well..

Prove It!!!

I'm not trying to be hostile, but that I truly cannot believe. There is absolutely no way that car can get to 320 by any means, never mind stock!

Leo, that's exactly my point...

DE

The Escudo can hit around 320 (Not stock) but it is possible, especially if you reduce the down force of it, the power of 4 wheel drive cars is not to be reckoned with especially since they do not require LSD (because LSD slows them down) Amongst that, the car is naturally fast as it is, Supreme acceleration, with the gear ratio's evened out well I would say it could hit 320MPH...

Although I have not personally tried this, nor have I tried tuning my GT-ONE, I used it to win a few races as a stock car and have not tried using it for land speeds yet, though it’s been quite a while since I have played now... I keep saying I will get round to playing it but I’m a busy guy.

As for the escudo, I will be happy to believe if it cannot reach 320 if someone has gone out their way to try it every way possible, but it was only a Guess on my behalf, formula of power, grip capabilities, power to weight ratios, etc.
When I get the time I will try it myself so I will know weather I owe you all an apology or prove you all wrong and provide details on how it was achieved.

Until then, take it easy and I bid you all adieu

Just been messing around with the Escudo, and honestly, I have to eat my own words.
Deep apology to all of you.
I can’t get the bastard thing past 298.66 MPH. It lacks a lot of power at high RPM. So as for my conclusions on getting it to 320, Sheesh, what was I thinking...?
Don't assume before I try things out in future.

As for the GT-ONE I'll try that out later.
If I CAN'T get 320 out of the Escudo when I thought I could
Then I probably CAN get 370+ out of the GT-ONE when I thought it isn't possible

Screwed up world isn’t it :irked:

Thank you ACP. Perhaps you should consider what you're saying before you say it - even before you tested the car you changed your statement... :odd:

I think you need to spend less time speculating and test more, as well as realising that power isn't everything.

DE

Quick Post:
Just got home from work, Playing GT4 now...
Using the Black Toyota GT-ONE
All the best parts from the Toyota manufacturer
Oil change, currently holding 1101 BHP
Looking at the engine curve graph, nice power in the HIGH RPM range
Going to mess around with the gears for a while till I can make it hit over 340 without NOS, or 378, or whatever that other guy got...
Wish me luck :p

Few minutes later after roughly slapping the gears to what looks good...
I went over the line at a speed of exactly 299.52 without using nos...
Now... If memory serves right, someone has that in their signature...
That's an awesome coincidence :D

This is proving more difficult then I immagined.

It's from a Rally...
Can't remember its name but...
If you go to the very bottom of the rally list
past all the Easy and Medium, to the very bottom of the Hard ones
It's 1 up from the last rally

- [Rally that you win the escudo on]
- [Rally at the end]

That’s where I remember winning it from.
The first rally you win a CIEN in, this is a decent car to do a few races with

-------------------------------------------------

This GT-ONE is a right pain in the ass to make fast...
Maybe I'm too tired to mess about with gear ratios, Can't seem to get it past 300 at the moment... Then again, never really used this car before, and only been "playing around" with it for the past 20 minutes. Hope I can hit the target of 370+
