311.xxmph in a GT-R? I have nothing to worry yet, then. I'm 2 mph's above you guys.. but, maybe I should try pushing my black avenger beyond 313mph.. it's only 0.07mph away, after all.. :trouble:

and yes, DE, I know how frustrating it is to be 0.01 mph behind someone.. :crazy: :sick:
 
Well leo;),, cause Gtplanet was down for a while and I had nothing to do,, except trying to beat your Gt-R record,, even though I was sick of the car,,
After maybe another 12 hours of finetuning and tweaking the car,, I managed to beat you by one mph or someting...
So I don't think I will hold on to that record for a long time:)
Currently I'm driving every car from 250Bhp around the ring so I will probably bump in a car which can manage to do a 300Mph,,
Catch me if you can:)

Well done Deathwish... That's an incredible speed! Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy getting it as much as you could've done, though, I always love driving any Skyline! :)

Go for it Leo:),, and DE don't get me wrong I love a skyline too,, but finetuning and tweaking it for over 35 hours maybe,, is a bit too much,, But when I reached the speed I went berserk,, I was just so happy:)

Nope, sounds acceptable to me :p :lol:

That's why I like doing this in the Skyline, besides it actually being a Skyline - it's unique in that no amount of tweaking can guarantee you a good speed - it has a certain technique that must be got exactly right! :)

Bam!: 325 MPH-Mitsu GTO '95 (as a side note, I'm testing a new tuning idea specifically for the 3KGT. If it works, I'll use it on the Skyline as well, since they drive so similar.)

I hear you. Same thing with the 3KGT, Esprit and Pesky. If you don't drive it exactly right as well, you might as well have had a fully stiff suspension.

I agree with you for the most bit:),, When you finally reach a record speed or jus go faster then your own PR with the Skyline,, it just gives a boost of statisfaction,,, but,,,uuhhmmm,,,eeeehhhh,, I agree with you,, you're right;)
 
well, I'm going to do it sooner or later. no progress this far, still having problems with the understeer at the end of the curve.:guilty:

i know what you mean with "boost of satisfaction" Deatwish, i felt the same, when i managed to get over 300mph with the M-B AMG!!

I'll take your challenge for the Oddesey by the way... as soon as the 24 Ring endurence that I'm running now is done. I'll add it to my forum if either of us breaks 200!
