i also don't think the CTR2 can go much further. my new project is @ ca. 275mph,......and i think it will be a hard fight :scared: :ouch:

The CTR2 suffers from the same thing the Saleen does; non-adjustable downforce! Both cars are capable enginewise, but thanks to the fact that they both develop DF, and you can´t adjust it, they just have too much drag.
 
I´m pretty sure it is possible, but it is beyond my skill at least. And considering I had the first ever roadgoing Viper on the board, I´m certainly not that bad! But then again, I am completely bested by the Toyota GT-One. It seems some cars are for some people, and other cars suit others better.

And no, sorry, my Skyline settings are currently in the folder marked 'Classified - Squadron Eyes Only' :p so you'll have to browse around, I think some were posted a while back.

Both of the zonda made it? and of course the zonnda racecar cant because it has what? THE DAMN BLODDY DOWNFORCE!🤬:mad: I hae this car with a passion

I just think that that car can do it, its got the horsepower, the right body style but I guess that downforce is just getting in the way...

Adjust the Downfoce to zero, Take it all out?

that's true, but don't you think that with the right gearing and suspension the 300mph should be possible??

No. I can guarantee that the CTR-2 can not do 300 MPH. I tried it for about a month, and all I got out of it was 294. The Saleen, however, is a different story. It may be possible for that to pull 300 MPH, as I got it much closer than the CTR-2 (297 MPH).

Anyway, it brings me great pleasure to announce a new record - the first in over a week.
Verified through settings sent to me, Viperpilot's speed of 357.42mph in the Audi R8 is legitimate :)

Congrats viper,, still not anything from me though,, too busy,, and I'm also running every car at midfield to see if I can et better at tuning,, after that I will be back a test course I guess:)

What you said about my "cheat device" in my video thred was something kind of weird, I mean everyone knows that I have it(nod all of your heads) and only use it for transfering game saves and replays. I hope that clears some of the missconception up on what I do with it. All of my records are legit:)

Well you and a few other I cant name at the moment are making a good recodnigtion of what im doing, however I think im nearing the end of my 300mph career:(
 
yeah sure i will post a picture but how dya do it? im kinda new (only been on this site about 6 months so im still learning)

it's all about driving lines then. try different lines, even the craziest ones. that should bring the remaining 3 mphs to you.💡 though ,i won't be happy about this yankee intrusion to the sacred ground..:ouch: if it can do it that is :dopey:

It's not that I meant you were cheating opendriver,, I meant I'm just curious about what you can do with it,, cause I heard some things that you can make the AI of the cars dumb,, that they drive against walls and stuff,, that happened in one of your vids too,, so I just wondered what you could do with it,, I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way,, wasnt meant that way, ,Sorry again,,

Yeah, we're pretty exclusive :p I don't think any Skyline has done 300mph without one of our members at the wheel :)

Just so you know, Opendriver (I hope I'm on your list of people who appreciate your work) we'd be very sad to see you go! You're a skilled tuner and record-setter, and you push us all further ;)

Wel, most of the part is school, my finals are the last wek of june so I ve to prep for that. And im going to be working 99.8% of the summer so GT4 is slowly losing interst to me. Until that is till the PS3 comes out, im going to be saving moeny for it. That includes selling my PSP and working some little jobs here and there.

So as far as more new speeds, theres going to be little if any at all. Sorry to disapoint anyone. I know my fans will understand:sly:

I never said I was going to be leaving this thred, but ill still help some of the new people who wish to join the club or need some help with tunning

A rather off topic question, are there going to be 300mph setings in the wiki? If so, id like to contribute to the cause.
 
Ahh I see, Opendriver. Everyone has their reasons. Too bad to see you stop making speeds, you amazed us (me at least) with some amazing ones!
 
jip, GT4_Rule is right, you made some real amazing speeds. but real-life has to be on first place!! i have my final exams next week, so maybe a quiet week from my side.......
