Bwaaaaa!!!!:( :( :( :yuck: :ouch: , I can't contain my tears! I just found out something terrible!, ok.....aprox 1 1/2 month ago, I wanted to join this club, and to do so, I was going to use my Toyota Supra RZ with 40k miles to brake 300, but after many attempts I came to the conclusion that it was merely impossible to do it with that car, so I asked here for help, and some of you guys told me that I should better wait for the 6.2 Mile Supra if I wanted to get to 300, so I complied...I waited and waited......and waited and waited and waited! I play everyday and every 4-5 races or wheel change or upgrades I went back to the used car showroom II and found nothing but Supras with 23-40k Miles on them, so I kept skipping them. Anyway, after seeing the same Supras back again in the showroom and not the one I was looking for I said: Could it be possible that there are no 6.2 miles supras ?, so today I decided to download the list that Famine created for the Used cars in the North American version, and guess what....

Don't ask me why didn't I use another car like a group C car to get to 300, I defenitely know I can get there but I wanted to do it first with a Supra. Now I know that in the PAL version there might be a 6.2 Mile Supra, and that's why some of you guys gave me that advice and thanks BTW 👍 but unfortunately there's not one in my version... :(, so all this time wasted has made me sad and has isolated me from those who have reached incredible speeds!!!...well I guess it was partly my fault for not downloading the archive sooner...but I have one question:

Do I really HAVE TO have the 6.2 Mile supra to get it to 300MPH or there's a way that a 23k one can make it? if so I'd be glad if one of you guys give me some settings....once again, Thank you for your time

Ciao...:guilty:

Ya. I dont think ntsc gt4 has the 6.2 mile Supra. :(

Leonidae's settings from a couple pages back. I have them on my 23k mile supra. Can't break 297, tho.

6.2 miler pfshsssssss! 0 miles baby

There is no 6.2 miler in the NTSC version, it too searched for it hours on end. My record is 300.95 with it. I dont feel like putting more effot into it, im rather lazy

Mr.OzzyGT
I wanted to do it the clean way ;)

Ciao...
I tried with the 23K one mentioned above, but only came to 297, so that leaves me with two options:

1-buy the car from a friend, wian that wouldnt work, it would have to be something other than NTSC(does anyine know if that would work?)

2-use my ARMAX to get a game save with the right car on it

Just wait for one with the lowest miles possible then. My Supra is not a 6.2mi, and I get 304 mph from it. I think mine has some 12k on it. As long as you get hp up to...whatever it was...982? You´ll be able to pull the 300 mark.

Edited by Scaff to tidy up the post and reduce its size - when posting up settings in the future can you please take soem time to ensure the post size is kept to a sensiable size. Thanks.

I bet that higher mileage Supras can do it as well. it's all about driving lines. you can keep the car up near the outer edge till 245-250mph, then you MUST try to turn or you'll hit wall and die in mighty ball of fire and cloud of flying bits and pieces... j/k. my attempts for higher speed have started to suffer because I just haven't been able to make my cars turn after reaching 250mph in corner..

viperpilot
any GT-R-news Leo?? i know what you mean with the fireball and the tiny bits, had also some "crashs" in the past *gg*

viper
Speaking of crashes, I have got some of my highest speeds crashing into walls, for example, my R390 GT1 racecar. It might have slowed me down a bit, but I still got a fairly high speed

Joke? That actually happened to me a few times :p

Sorry I've not been saying much, but I've got no news and there's no new speeds at the moment, so I've just been reading through 👍

I have a few things cooking in a couple of days. A few videos of 350+ speeds, and I´m working on a new project too. 292 mph so far, and I will need a miracle to get 8 more out of it. But miracles have been known to happen in this thread (the Skylines were deemed impossible IIRC, but now see what happend!), so I´m having my hopes!

i have got an escudo to 302.24 mph :o) if u guys wanted to know with nitro and no wheelie but it does bounce after about 304 mph so i discounted the bounce speeds is that ok?

Hi niallz06. The Suzuki Escudo is a bit hated here, largely due to its massive turbolag and wasted amounts of power, and I've driven it myself at high speed. Nobody else has cracked 300mph in it without doing a wheelie, or even got close, so I think a slightly more certain verification will be needed. As Viper rightly says, a photo of the Session Record screen will be needed in any case.

Can you record a video of the replay of your run? If that's not a problem, that would be a good method of verification.
Seeing as the car is relatively unknown here, a much better form of verification would be for you to PM me the settings (all the settings you've changed) you used in that run, and I can test them out on an Escudo myself to see if they are legit or not.
(Don't worry, I won't use your settings for my own purposes :))

Let us know what you can come up with 👍

I have had my speed 12 lying around for a while but never got the chance to go out and test it

The current methoud is above on how to post a top speed, if it is iver 350mph, then you need a video. For more info, please read everything in post#1

I have done it at 310.10 MPH and here's the setup I used, and to verify this claim you may also use this setup until I can develop the picture..I'm kinda broke and have no digicam on me...

Setup for a Toyota Minolta 88C-V Race Car '89 | 1164 HP Turbo 4 Kit installed and NOS:

Four things I messed around with:

First off is the suspension:

The only thing I changed is the Ride Height which are both set at 55mm

Second is the tricky part and has to do with the Transmission:

1st: 4.993
2nd: 3.094
3rd: 2.150
4th: 1.459
5th: 1.147
6th: 0.869

Final: 2.683

Auto: 22

Third is Downforce:

Setting the downforce to very low on both

And finally, the NOS setting should be maxed at 70

The goal was to reach 240 on 6th gear @ 6500RPM and then apply NOS on the backstretch since NOS gets used up quick. The car will feel like it's hydroplaning as with the low downforce and the feeling that the car is gonna take off is prevalent in this setup. So when going into the first turn, you should stick high, after rounding out the turn, hit the NOS and I pretty much went to speeds higher than I thought I would.

Try that, and you should be hitting 300MPH by the time you're halfway down the backstretch.

I'll try and get the picture done, I'm gonna try the Photo shooting replay and see if it works. Have fun and remember to save it as a different Set than your normal racing set...
