Looks like a great wheel (it's freaking HUGE though) and it might be worth those 500$ if it works as well as it looks it does - it looks a bit dangerous though 👎 If you put a finger in there when it spins, it will 100% brake it
Let's wait and see. They say it's getting PC later in 2011 and I don't it's smart to spend 500$ on a wheel that only supports PS3, so I hope they won't need too much time to release a driver for windows. Unfortunately GT5 force feedback still isn't nowhere near hardcore PC simulations.
The wheel is being promoted as a high-end peripheral for enthusiasts/serious gamers who want the most capable gear. GT5 has a broad user base and this wheel is for the top 2% of that market.
You make it sound like it's an impulse buy at the register at Walmart next to the chewing gum.
