Another World record driven with this wheel!
Oh ffs! Seen quite a few with that problem. Will do, I've set it up on my playseat challenge but due to the height of the base it blocks my tv, next job this week is to take the base off the tv and mount the tv on the wall with a bracket.
Be sure to let us know your thoughts, ive still not pulled the trigger yet! Still fighting myself... over pay for Fanatec or stay in the Thrustmaster eco system in which i have 4 wheels already.
The problem for me is the pedals... Really want a good set of pedals. I only have the T3PMs right now and the pedals that come with the T598 aint good
its a load of crap on gt7 ps5, theres no feedback and you cant drive a car that drifts or loses traction, you need to use tc all the time which makes you slower. its fine on ACC and F1. it also overheats if you have it on full power for over half an hour, i could fry an egg on mine. im taking it back to currys for a refund as i drive on gt7 mostly, and currently, a t150 is better than this, so im going back to belt drive, t248 or t300 or tgt. i tell you another thing thats a pain, you have to update the wheel software and calibration by laptop, you then have to put the right game settings into the wheel hub for each game, then you have to put wheel settings into the game you are playing, then, you have to tune the bloody car in the game. if you want plug and play, then this isnt the wheel for you!I have now t248, but ive been thinking of getting this new t598. I almost always drive with 360 rotation, so can you do it quickly on this wheel? T248 is very nimble, the mode button is in the wheel, and its digital. Since in GT7 you have to set rotation manually each time beginning of race/time trial, or even if you just pause.
Also, would like to know if the t598 is a notable upgrade to t248?
You know, I ended up buying T-GT II after all the negative feedback I read from the users.its a load of crap on gt7 ps5, theres no feedback and you cant drive a car that drifts or loses traction, you need to use tc all the time which makes you slower. its fine on ACC and F1. it also overheats if you have it on full power for over half an hour, i could fry an egg on mine. im taking it back to currys for a refund as i drive on gt7 mostly, and currently, a t150 is better than this, so im going back to belt drive, t248 or t300 or tgt. i tell you another thing thats a pain, you have to update the wheel software and calibration by laptop, you then have to put the right game settings into the wheel hub for each game, then you have to put wheel settings into the game you are playing, then, you have to tune the bloody car in the game. if you want plug and play, then this isnt the wheel for you!
