The first cross gen steering wheel from Trhustmaster compatible with PS4 and PS3 is also Driveclub licensed. Most of the people that tried it say its a nice one, with sturdy pedals and good feedback.
I have a PS4 and also G27 racing wheel with the playseat which I used to play it with all my PS3 racing games and loved it!especially NASCAR and need for speed.
I can't believe it's not compatible with the PS4. This is just unethical.
But I love racing games and right now anything that resembles a wheel-like-shape will entertain me right now!! I will still keep my force feedback G27 just in case the Ps4 and Logitech finally agree and become conscious of experiencing the enjoyment in the most "realistic" sim gaming experience instead of greed!
So just to confirm, the T80 USA price will be around $80?
They haven't said old wheels won't work on the ps4 and i see no reason why it shouldn't at least support all logitech wheels and the t500 since i can use my DFGT on the PS2 and the PS3 i don't see why sony wouldn't let people use current wheels on the PS4.
"No options"? It's been reported several times that developers can implement wheel drivers so the wheels you used with your PS3 will most likely be compatible with the PS4. Why don't you wait until the first wheel-enabled title is released before you jump to conclusions like that? The only logical reason is financial issues; contractual issues that both side can't eat their greed!
It's NEVER "compatibility"issues that's a joke ! Selfish issues that take away a true pleasurable gaming experience which is an easy fix through a patch or firm update..
I spent $300 from my G27 and car seat cost $400 alone! I'm not throwing it away I will hold onto it until the Logitech and Sony finally shake hands.
But until then I will go with the T80 if that's the only option ( I hate that feeling) I emailed thrustMasters and they confirmed that the T80 will be available end of May early June and the USA. Better than thumb wheel/brake and it's an okay price(for me) and an okay only option wheel.
Sucks being a racer gamer with limited to NO options! AHHHH!!
2 years this is under the rug

Why does it seem like all wheels for the PS4 and XB1 are going backwards in quality from last gen?
I haven't seen a single quality wheel for this gen yet.![]()
...Pretty soon no pedals or wheels, just moving your hands in the air.
Not sure if you knew this but it is possible to do that in Forza Motorsports 4 with Kinect. They pretty much have all aids turned on (auto braking and throttle).
I think that actually sounds pretty fun.I literally would rather play with Matchbox and Hotwheels cars on the kitchen table that that.
While I don't think any of US would take that thing seriously, I'm sure a super casual player might be able to plug it in and have some fun. Cost is subjective really, I remember trying to talk people into paying the ONE HUNDRED and FIFTY DOLLARS the Driving Force Pro cost back in 2005 over the good ol' $79.99 MadCatz MC2 or even worse that damn Pelican TT wheel they kept selling for $20... people would buy the cheapies and their copies of GT4 and I guess they were happy enough...

I hope so, but check out what logitech is doing nowadays their are moving away from consoles and staying going for pc and arcade. $$$Also, before you condemn Sony's "compatibility", think of it this way... Sony's first party racing franchise, Gran Turismo, presently on PS3, STILL supports EVERY official GT Logitech FFB wheel dating back to GT3 (2001) IN GAME, with options support and everything... and they even added support for the UN-official G25 and G27 wheels via updates. That's pretty amazing support really.
I think PS4 will probably be much the same, barring some PS4-specific licensed wheel debut that gives them some kind of incentive to do something janky.

I stand corrected.so I shouldn't toss my g27 just yet..No they clarified that they were only going to stop making OTHER peripherals for consoles like controllers, keyboards, headsets, etc.
Since the wheels are all compatible with PC, they're still making those
DO NOT BUY THIS WHEEL! It has a bungee cord and will wear out soon. Their T100 wheel is great and I have won over 2300 races since I bought it--trust me on this.
The new Thrustmaster T100 wheel is fully supported even PS4 and GT7 and is great--I have won 1400 races online--Daytona muscle. It only cost $125 and is high quality. Is also supported by Project Cars.
We've tried the Thrustmaster T100, and i wouldn't want it even for free,
The T100 is the best wheel, I've tried them all--have won over 1000 online races in past 90 days.
Money is no object for me and I have tried many wheels and the T100 is far the best. I have won more than 1000 online races since April 1st with it.
If a little torn in the third quote.I think Max likes his T100.![]()
