Level playing fields are always nice. Be even better if PD locks the TCS and ABS settings for the events after this one - have them set it to a more realistic front and rear brake bias in each car for example - No ABS driving in Gran Turismo when the brakes bias hasn't been adjusted isn't that real yet...

While I applaud the level playing field by supplying the cars there are 2 things I think that are worth mentioning :
PD locking the TCS and ABS settings would mean that even less people are going to participate. Knowing PD they will just take it to the extreme, it'll either be ABS and TCS locked on 10 or both on 0. Them setting a brake bias for each TT ( as each car would be different, thus needing a different brake bias ) would be too much of a hassle, so that's not an option either.
Just my personal opinion though, could be wrong ;)

Mind sharing the tune for that one? Would like to give that one a go seeing that I only gave the '10 WRX sedan a go, curious to see how the Sport Wagon stacks up. Or send me a FR and put it on share for a while if that's easier for you ;)

No, it just takes a while to load if you are going into GT web site. It still has the ID of someone trying to catch PD's attention.

Dang...that is a quick one. If no cheating, dont worry. I should upload. Thought the same thing with the PD Supplied GT-R and all the track glitching going on.

GT5 site I thought refreshed fairly quickly. Just make sure when you leave to save in game. The other Time Table took a bit of time from what I remember.
 
Yea, finally beat my WRX Sti 10 with my WRX Sti 07 1:33'998. Now back to the wrx 10....think the 07 is cheating! :eek:

They changed the format on mygranturismo...also show in previous TT results the tires used

Just looked at the leaderboard. Seems the same thing is happening again today. Cheated times with ridiculously named accounts. I'm telling you, pretty soon PD is just going to get tired of wiping times and just close the event altogether.

I'm not sure about L_E_O_N_I_S either. I don't recall ever seeing him in the top 10 tho. Just hard to say about that one.

Noticed the top 6 today seem to be the same guy? Same Red Subaru, Guy from germany, has a nerve to have a PSN ID I Hacked Cars. What the heck?

Thats just the mentality of some people I guess. Just waiting for GT6 now and hoping things are different with that game. I love and miss running these and competing with everyone, but I refuse to do it while all this is going on. I have made alot of friends here (and some enemies too I guess :lol:) on these TT's and have had alot of fun and good memories from days gone by, its just a shame it has come to this. Hopefully there are better days ahead with GT6. For now, just practicing for the Academy.
 
Did anyone also notice the FGT top 5 ? The time's are getting faster and faster too. Someone is also trying to beat mr world number one -which now using ABS 1 and 1:09.5xx :crazy: I am curious to see how these both TT ends.

I thought that his claim to fame was ABS 0 because it was the most realistic and all that. Not that it matters or anything, but I'm just saying that he always claimed that he was a non-aid user and was the best at it, now he switches on the ABS. Guess he must be getting a little worried about that 2nd place guy. :sly:

You have try ABS0? you know how big the disadvantage is much harder and slower.

Hi Dalh, I know how exasperating it is when no matter what you do you just can't take off a few lousy hundredths of a second.

I am currently on 1:34.032, same place I have been for a few days now and desperately want to achieve a sub 1:34 before the game closes.

But I'll keep trying different things to achieve that.

And I fully agree with Doodle's sentiments regarding dual accounts.

You just can't accept if someone posted better times than you, go on, do several accounts, do what you like, no respect there to be gained even if you dominate the ranks. People know a lot more about you after reading the comments on that Youtube video. GTD_B4NN4MI might have a point, he's getting closer to you on 2nd - I don't know if he cheated or not to get 1:09.xxx, but what he said on the comment section might be true after all.

Why you talk to me? I have say you I dont need to cheat Drivers like you need to cheat because you never can beat my times without cheating guys like you never beat me. There are also very good Driver like GhostDriver and Bandit Karter and Spurgy this guys are good but you are slow you dont need to talk with me!
 
I'm sure IMMORTAL wouldn't cheat. He wouldn't be able to take the fall if was caught. And he is also very very fast in open wheelers anyway.

Yes, I am slow, I can't drive as fast as you on racing tires, but you don't have the right to be so smug and act like only your par can talk to you, jeez.

Why don't you race at Deanutseven ? I can't wait to see how good you are in street tire racing ... but wait, you only drive race cars, formula and racing tires only. Everything else is beneath you, Mr Number One in the World Who only drive/good with Formula and Race Car with Racing Tire.

Let's be real here, immortal can't win gt academy as he can't drive cars with anything less than racing tyres so basically he isn't good enough. he wants to be an f1 driver right... But let's look at his arrogance and threats he made on by planet AND YouTube, his career is over way before its even begun.

I think it is really sad that people blame him for being a slow racer with sports tires, he chose to drive with racing tyres, that is his choice. You don't blame Usain Bolt for being a horrible runnner because he doesn't win Marathons, well that is just my point of view.

Well, what was wrong with my post ? Did I said anything that offend anyone ? I even admitted I am slow compared to him and the thought to be faster than him never crossed my mind - pointless.

I simply stated my impression on him and I never said about him being slow, but I know from what he wrote in the past that everyone in GT5 is too slow for him, which is why he said he wanted to move on to Iracing.

Snip.. My next step will be iRacing as you guys are too slow for a proper competition. In case you would like to know what real racing is I invite you to come to Holland and to attend to a kart race with the fastest kart drivers of the world and - of course - me on different karting tracks there. GTP_CargoRat most probably would win all these races......wouldn t he??
By the way the guy who makes the videos is not arrogant but he is very talented.
