But the tires can still be exploited, right ? and how about changing downforce value to higher value than max allowed in tuning page ? Is it still working after 2.12 ? DF can be set between 0 and 255 on any car and ballast can be set in ways to massively change the balance of a car.

First of all, you will get banned from here if you do and second, I fail to see your logic here. Why don't you try e-mailing them (Sony/PD) or something, explaining whats going on. All thats going to do is possibly get the event shut down, which will really piss people off. I think that is a very bad idea you have there. Use the report procedure or just let it go and see what happens.

I've just managed to shave 2 tenths off my time with the 22b with a 1.34.9, currently good enough for 463rd. Obviously not fast but I feel like I'm getting somewhere!

It's a shame that hacking has crept back into online 👎 Really hope they can sort it out without pulling this TT but I'm not optimistic.

The F1 cars feel like karts and the Race Cars also.
The Car with Comfort tyres are joke when you are real racer you know this.

As much as I dislike cheating, it would be amusing if someone used this tire hack to knock immortal fgt off his throne..

I haven't tried it but I think I could get much grippier tyres to show up as racing hards for that time trial, even with those it would still be very hard. I can think of 3 previous F1 TTs off the top of my head, immortal won 2 and was at least in the top 3 in another (he may have won that to).

Now, that would be bad for everyone else too, we never know if immortal would do nothing about it and besides there are other ways to cheat other than tires = downforce + ballast for example. Let's not forget FGT can be supercharged or turbocharged or twincharged - which gives better power curve, ( not sure about power multi still works or not, in order to reduce PP after such upgrade ), oh and other hidden tuning parts like clutch, flywheel, brakes.

Or you could do a downforce hack I would never do that (though I probably would've last year ) but it would be funny seeing him get knocked out of first. I remembered that you got 4th place in the Monaco TT from last year with the Ferrari F1s so you have good pace 'round there.

Not sure if folks are still creating unrealistic hp cars or not, but only a "FEW" were honest to play in the right PP range that I witnessed. Did not matter if they used hidden down force, grip multiplier or chassis + motor...if you stayed in an agreed PP range a PD supplied car could keep up. Basically you still needed to drive the car.

Now with added performance on varying tyres that is not available to all, it is beyond just driving IMHO.

It's embarrassing but I'm still at 1:39.191. I hope the time trial isn't shut down. I got my first ever sub-5000 FGT time trial yesterday. I'm not fast(actually, I think I could take Grandma to the grocery store faster). I'm just cursed with this racing itch and I can't stop scratching.

EDIT: Thank you for the tune! I shaved two seconds off my time! I'm running 1:37.XXX now.

No one said you need to cheat to be number ONE, or do you ? And now you say you can still drive faster ? I would love to see you post faster time and to be number ONE again. No need to ask for address and troubling your friend in Oz, don't get riled up so much over forum discussion.

Thanks, what I found was that it was worth running less than full downforce because most of the corners are taken at low speed where you can't really exploit all that downforce so it's just wasted PP, it's harder to slide the car to in the slow corners with high DF. I used a wheel for that but I couldn't get close to that with a DS3, too much precision needed.

From my experience of racing with him he can do that time with a stock fgt so doubt he put the effort in to tune it although I would like a look at the setup he has as much as anyone just to see if how his setup compares to mine
