Finally pulled a good lap together, a 1:03.541. Good enough for 16th at the moment. Also, anyone noticed this on the London leaderboard?

It's a wonder that got past the censor.

No one will be concerned about my latest time though, 1:05.512 @ pos 1,014. Still it's better than when I started, then it was over 1,500.

I seem to have hit a flat spot and can not for the life of me go faster... I can do lap after lap of 1:04.2xx... I lose most of my time in the first sector I think..
 
On my first lap of La Sarthe, my DFGT vibrated its connection loose. Got a silver on the second lap & leaving it there. I'm not gonna stuff my wheel up using this ridiculous car. London is much more fun anyway... 👍
 
New personal best but I can only go 11th, fastest DS3 but I'm still losing it in the final sector, the best I've seen at the end of sector 2 is 0.083 off yinato. yinato's lap looks very good and the only real weakness I can see is the high speed section in the first sector, every now and again I'll gain about half a tenth and without compromising the following corner.

I'd recommend taking out the force feedback cable for the Red Bull, it's so much easier with it off. I think for the wheel to still work you need to remove it once you get to the track.

Decided to give this a go today since I'm not getting much study done...Did a solid 1.5-2 hour stint on the prototype and managed a 2.16'234 before my wheel worked itself off the table it's mounted on :lol:

Nice to drive this car again. Nowhere near the level I was in when I did the Vettel Challenges but who has time for that these days!
 
These time trial events are horrible. I don't know how people find them enjoyable.

Because it's challenging to set a competitive time? I'd do them all day if I didn't have any other commitments...
 
the top 1 now has an ugly habit with the walls, as with that time will be up in the classification,? is good to play dead hours :) yinato no have top 1 ;) gogogogogo

someone could say that force used in the G25 force feedback,? DFGT in the 4 or 5

Absolutely! These are about effort. If only we had more time!👍 I set about 15 red laps last night attempting to break that 1:06.000 mark!
 
Anyone tried to run the mazda, immediately after running the redbull...??

Thanks ESCAMA your a great help.. i tried it on 4 with the active steering setting on in the options menu.. an it felt very loose i was turning an i was struggling to find grip or limit of grip.. But yeah i improved a tenth last night.. 1.03.654 i think if i mind.. was getting first part right an then making mistake near the end.. the opposite of the first.. was so close to vintelichoco an slightly touched last wall :(

;) Try not to go with ghost, when I started with the TT did the same, but over time I realized that my own hands and no help from ghosts could go much faster, and each person is different so you have to be clear ;)

not because it has better weather is ahead mean you have to follow his ghost, try and try and Superate yourself you will have even more merit for you;)

EDIT:

well then, I'm stupid and do not use the standard braking distributor, I have 2 turns ONLY with standard braking and unchecked any time before and I miss the time that is in the list! twisy and yinato great time;)

some people in the top 10 you would have to be disqualified for using the wall!

I'm having a lot of fun on this event. Such a difficult car calling for an immense amount of perfection.

Well, I got 2:27.293 after a few tries. Not too shabby for someone that doesn't drive X1's all that often and using a controller.

I just saw the replay of the top 10 London, Ubero46 used the handbrake in the last corner, maybe it's a good idea to go faster, I'll try tomorrow. What is the brake balance are you using?

I doubt that it'll really make you any faster ,could be wrong though, feel free to prove me wrong ;)
To be honest, you can quite easily make it slide 'round the corner without the handbrake :D

I watched your back with the ruling and thought WTF with failure and that good lap?

the trouble is that I do not have time to test until next Thursday or Friday to try to improve

on lap failure, have the same exact time in second section, before failure is clearly! o_O

Because you get half a million credits for golding each one-and double if you have the 200% bonus by playing regularly
