The guides for the new time trial is here! Extremely fun one, could see myself jumping back on at some point with this one!

Ye the same, my example with Mik and Josete is from daily races specifically. There's a very clear temperature difference in races when you switch tyres and we don't see that in time trial in daily races or actual time trials. I do wonder sometimes whether there's a flag to "Cold" and "Warm" on tyres but I never really see a difference there.

I do get you though sometimes I feel I can't go as quick and can never put my hand on it. I do wonder whether brake temperatures or wear or something else is being simulated and we are not aware of it and that may cause issues. Could be placebo as well like restarting gives people a fresh mind as I often restart to get the better sector 1 etc.

Thank you Martin, I do a lot lot more laps than you 🤣 trying to keep up which I never do 🤣 but in complete candidness and no tinfoil stuff, there are certain tracks where a warmer tire and faster flow through mean a second or subsequent laps will be better, Watkins is one of those tracks.

Do have to postulate though, that temperature is set and different between TTs there was the time lapse bug at TM and oil still wears, some of this is you are exceptionally talented and fast as hell but ;)

Edit: one day I might translate to English 🤣

I jumped on one of my alt accounts to do the Nordschleife TT, and I cold-lapped it to silver.

Yes, I know it's a low silver, but I'm happy with it.

What's this witchcraft? Another highly enjoyable TT 😱 I've only had a bundle of laps but I'm loving the Delta at GV. I like the car so much I spent several hours (when I should have been working) creating not one but 2 classic liveries for it, available to all, so grab one if you like and maybe drop a like (yeah I'm old and don't get much attention nowadays 😭)

115 more kms on the odometer and I've managed to find 3/10.....in 12.834.......with an opti of 12.6.......

so I should be able to do it......

I'm going to let the week go by, while the furious ones get excited and set us the time for the gold medal....

in the meantime: back to the green hell..... 😂

First impression on the Delta, ....nice!
It does have some rotation issues for me so a last moment rotate means cuddling rocks, but nice balanced combo!, I'll definitely return!

@Jeje6410 strong start mate!
Thanks a lot my dear friend Jomar
This Lancia is a pure pleasure to drive in this Gran Valley 😍❤️.
Maybe I'm wrong, but for me it's the best combo that PD has offered us in a long time...
your first day was also very successful...👏👏well like all the others TT...🤣🤣
Bravo Jomar 💪💪👏👏👏

Been a while now since I do a GT7 session, with F1 25 taking up my time lately, but hopped on today to check the new update, and did laps on the Swift and AMG Time Trials.

Swift on the SM tires was a hoot to throw around the Ring! Managed the Gold on my 3rd attempt, lets see if the time will stick.

The AMG on Monza, classic combo and the gold came pretty easy there, with almost a second to spare, so I'm content with that :)

Grand Valley South in the Lancia is fun.

It seems like the most important part to get right is turn 9, and then perhaps turn 6. Those are the two spots where the alien ghost seems to open the gap on me.

If a person can get that last turn (9) smoothly and with speed there is a big chunk of time to be had.

The rest of the track seems pretty easy to max out with that car.

Have to agree with everyone saying that the Delta is an absolute delight. First session was quite successful, and I threw away a lap that was a tenth faster at the S2 split (39.615), so there should be a bit more potential still.

Although once again I am traveling over the weekend, so it will have to wait ;)

Happy lapping!

Some time trials are really tedious and make you want to pull your hair out but every once in a while, you get one which is fun. This one falls into the "fun" category because the car is a hoot and the track has an excellent flow to it. Such is the design of a proper original circuit that aims to provide driving pleasure in every sense... How PD come up with crap like St Croix I'll never know.
