There isn’t a trick, sadly we are simply severely handicapped in this particular combo, the difference between wheel and controller is pretty much previously unseen. There was the Hyundai VGT at Spa recently which was also terrible and impossible to fairly compete in on the controller but this one here is even worse.

I know a couple of controller guys who have managed to sneak into 05 with .830 and .960 or thereabouts so it’s doable but the mad thing is that those are seriously good times (relatively) and in the grand scheme of things not particulary notable, if you know what I mean, a performance like that should be about a P30 - P70, instead here it’s P400 - 700 and about 2,20% off.

This is all true.

But the main thing is it isn’t fun for anyone, honestly I’m sure there some peeps that love this stuff but I/me personally can’t stand it.

Maybe im just a neighsayer but man it’s hard, not challenging.

Very frustrating and its like the feeling I lost all that I learned the past years and not beeing capable anymore 🤣
There are just tomany points in the lap that are so difficult but needed for even gold.

I thought a top 100 clearly wasn't in the books when it came up, but beeing frustrated on a journey to even get the gold wasn't something I had in mind 🤣

Did progress though 🙈🤣

Ninjas, I am abroad without access to Playstation but I am reading what you say.
So I asked Chals on X (Twitter) to make comparison of Joystick, motion control and wheel, on Laguna Seca with Corvette VGT, which he did. Here is his comparison

Laguna with the under steroid thing is quite of a challange.

I have another 0.5s in my sector bests, but they appear and disappear (well, disappear most of the times) in a blink of an eye.

@Gomario JSP once I'll be able to complete a valid lap may I flex to my friends that I did better then you at least once? Note that this will required you to stay on your no-show stance for the whole next 2 weeks

Lots of chatter about the Vette and rightfully so but for me it's the Audi that has me stumped. I have not done many laps but just find the car utterly hateful, the handling seems so alien. The weight transfer seems extreme for a sports car and I am struggling to understand when there is and is not grip. Will give it another whirl tonight but surprised how many people have gold, usually if there's 10% or more in the gold band I am good for gold but I am not even close with this one.

No, the R8 is still fine...

Watch Mistah's video... and you'll do it... and as mentioned above: don't rush it too much and it'll be fine...

What surprises me is that there are no comments about the NSX...and no guide
maybe because there's still almost a month to go?...🤔🤔

I’m 1.5s off the pace and that’s still 2.45% but 780th on the board.

There is clearly people who are gonna excel at these ones but to have basically the top 1000 just about making the 3% mark is definitely different considering most events.

I don’t think it’s just controller users either, it’s just harder than the recent few we’ve had.

Havent tried CSA yet. I know I can hit 1:05.9xx but that destroys my DG score, so VERY reluctant to even do this one. I'm even struggling to get into the green with the NSX/Maggiore TT :rolleyes: ..... I'm broken this week. :lol:

I think the upshift to 4th was a bit early in that quadruple right corner but I feel like I can never get that one right, had to stop the understeer and then the ending was super scruffy. Failed there many times already, was more apprehensive and careful this time but still maybe slightly early on the attack, ended up out on the grass, I was dead sure that lap was going invalid but somehow it didn’t. That was still far from optimal of course but hey, we survived. :cheers: No attack, no chance!

Well...another 300 miles this morning...... fastest was a .6 at seca 😵‍💫😵‍💫
The more I try.....the harder I fail ..
I am about to just give up on it and forget it, I need one tenth....but it just won't work..
The frustration is unbarable right now 🙈😡🤣

I don’t know if it would help but maybe try mixing it up for a few laps with a different camera just something to change it up a little and let you try it from a different perspective etc
