Sorry, I did not invent any viable strategy for a controller. I read the reviews of this TT with controller here and decided I am not going to bother setting times on both pad and wheel this time and just used wheel for both accounts. I don't think @half_sourly changes the icon for a one off, but I did not expect anyone to actually notice either, good spot!

I've not changed anything. I can give you the half wheel half controller icon if you want.
 
I think the numbers are off on this race, I'm usually about 4%. Only took 3 laps too, and it normally takes me 20+ to get gold.

Some questions for which an answer would be welcomed:

1. Upon saving my 'Best Lap Replay', where can I locate it? Also, the Fastest Laps that we can view of top ranked players are their Best Lap Replays which they saved? I did save mine but I can't find it even in the ranked player's list for the Sardegna TT.
2. Does anyone here let BGM (songs to be specific) run whilst driving in the TT?
3. Is there any way I can let Lenny Ibizarre's 'The Road to Joy' (imo the game's best song) run while running laps in the TT? As of now this song can only be played whilst navigating through menus & not in the races itself.

1: your replay will be saved in the “showcase” section of the world map. You can also load it as a ghost from the ghost option in the pre driving screen. If you need some guidance I can do a quick video.

Leaderboard replays are a little different in that they are automatic if you get a top 10 time at any point, but they aren’t automatically available in the “showcase” menu unless the person shared it deliberately.

2: I have the music off for driving and have the volume and SFX turned right down in the menus so can’t comment on this.

You were quickly into the .7xx's , nice! 👌 😂 😂
I did ran some laps this morning on the TV, litter better in terms of input delay on the pad and into the .7's too with a 788
But all is gained or lost on the "grow some b*lls" corner ...
I lost multiple -200 laps on it, each time just to much weight swing 😂, so there should be some more time to find and a high 5 should be doable i guess?...., but @bliprunner starting with a .404??..., easy buddy, leave some for the rest 😂😂

Fun though, and a old fashion leaderbard of terror

Few things that are important on this one folks, ....... get close, you need to scrape some mirror paint now and then..
And a lot of times i was sure it would invalidate but didn't

Revs....... 124km/h and 177 km/h shiftpoint and not a km/h more 😂😂
But very frustrating sort of "early limiter" on the left hander T6 sometimes? what does cost you a chunk of time due to the straight
Plus i found breaking a little earlier on T1 works better for me for now but that line may change a bit over time 😂

I have all music off, but regarding question three, you could play it outside of the game with Spotify or similar.

The "early limiter" thing happened to me quite some times, and also in T10. 🤷‍♂️

All in all, this one is indeed an easy one, but still a lot of fun trying to optimize every sector and improve the laptime. Especially after having given up taming the Corvette monster 🙄.

Yeah very annoying and ofcourse only happens when you have a blast of a S1 😂
You were also very quick into the 2:04's, my leaderboard will not be fun this time 😂😂

I'm fine with staying with controller icon on this account, this was the only TT that I did with wheel on it. What I meant by changing is I do not think you would want to change icons for anyone for singular TT. I just don't want anyone to feel cheated on when seeing my time, but I guess I could just drop a post if I ever do it again to avoid confusion.
 
Is there any place where we can see the fastest sector times of the top ranked or all players for the TT? (For instance in F1 after a practice or qualy session, the fastest sector times achieved by all drivers are made visible).

It would be really insightful in getting to see individual sector times achieved by the top ranked players. That would also help in understanding which is the weakest sector of Yourself & where You need to push/improve more.
