As @mike_racing pointed out...

Hyundai is giving away one logitech G pro wheel and pedals and also two PS VR2 , who apply to participate in ElantraN TT and submit time, printscreen and save replay, and log that in on hyundai-n web page. See above link from Famine.

Just a reminder to very fast people here, @Metalgear9493 @bliprunner @Dan_Tes @ERAZER @NAXEHT @Ed_Night @Partymix007 and apologize to all others very fast ninjas for not listing all your tags here...

What I want to say, as it is right now, some of you are there for a good nice prize, @bliprunner as example

Just saying.....

:gtpflag:
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I saw this the other day but without checking the finer details I see now that they’ve closed it despite 12 hours remaining on the TT. Seriously, man. Come on! :banghead:

Finally a trial that was actually fun for controller users. Think I put about 550km into this one, which is probably too much considering the time I got but it was fun nonetheless.

Aim was to get a sub 21, which happened in my final session last night. First achieved a .968 followed by this .941. Optimum ended up being a .776, so I really wanted to get into the .8s but it just wasn't happening.

Overall a fun trial and an enjoyable car to drive.

Now onto my home track of Bathurst in the Mustang!

^ This truly is horse**** to be frank. Disappointed as that otherwise was a very cool set up event with some truly nice and real rewards for once. But different ending times in game and in online registration makes zero sense. What a shame... but thanks for the shout, @Barareklam, should’ve engaged with this way earlier on.

Anyway, insanely frustrating TT. Yes, absolutely nice to be able to compete properly again but as per usual with Nürburgring GP the chicane just ruins the entire experience. Optimal should’ve been two or three tenths down from this but when finally the chicane isn’t invalid it’s still an utter trainwreck.

They’re truly the worst thing ever in the entire motorsports world, chicanes. I’d nuke every single one if I could.

Hey folks - hope everyone is doing well. Been offline for the last 3wks while we went back to the UK to renew our H1/H4 visas - great timing for those that follow the news on these things 🤣 but all went without a hitch and landed back in LAX last night.

Jet lag being what it is, I was awake at 4am this morning so 'granted' myself a little bit of track time before turning on the work laptop. After collecting Cr.8m in winnings(!) I jumped into the Opel, figuring it would be the tougher of thee two events ending tomorrow. Got the hang of it after a few laps though, but it's not a pleasurable experience and so got to target (by 0.001s) and called it a day.

Moved over the the 'Ring and enjoyed 20 laps over two runs in the Hyundai. In gold on the second lap (first was dirty) and got down to a competitive time quite quickly - think I'll run this one again before the end as there's still a few tenths on the table. Decent start though.

Hi Carlos, I'm glad you and your family are doing good atm. I'll be back racing with you guys asap. Can you explain later about the H1/H4 visas? I'm not familiar with that terminology. Anyways, awesome lap times on both tracks.

Of the two tracks, which one seems more pleasant and enjoyable for you? To me back then, I didn't find Road Atlanta a lot of fun because some of the corners and turns were tricky and blind. It took me many attempts and runs to finally pull a good lap out of the bag. And that's the truth. Let us know how you progress over the next 2 weeks.

Take care this evening,

Chris

Finally safely in gold at Mount Panorama. Optimum is a 15.9 again after 10 laps which is why I might even come back and try to get into the 15s.

Had some nice exits out of the Cutting and Forest's Elbow and also made it through Skyline/Esses and Dipper pretty smoothly. My nemesis is still T1. My exit there is always abysmal.

This combo is a lot of fun and perfect for my skill level. It is a challenge but at the same time it never feels hopeless.

The Opel is very close at 2.89% but it's just no fun on the pad. I won't be back even if I drop into silver. I expect some last minute magic from L-Shooter anyways.
As I also enjoy this combo but still be several seconds away may I ask you to publish your sector times? If you would share your ghost I would appreciate it a lot as we are usually not that far away (= me behind you). By the way, great lap time, mate!

Can anyone guess as to where the next TT will take place? I'm guessing Spa. But it's a roll of the dice of what PD selected for us all. You never know what will come next and what kind of car you'll be using.

Morning,

I had fun with it, but i am glad it's over
Somany oppertunities to get into the 7's but the stars didn't align..
Perfect combo for the pad except for the chicane.

Very bad sector 1 with a .614 but got a tiny bit back in S2 but it wasn't enough.
Solid time on the board though and an EPIC improvement from 2:20.881 to 860 :lol:

Another first page in the books!

I bet this TT will be a fine one to do, even for beginners who are new to gt7. Be careful with that sharp turn after the last tunnel, you can ruin your lap if you don't pay attention and brake earlier than expected. And it's a fairly new car that's been added to the game which should spice things up a bit.

Unusual day time GT7 for me. New TT is nice but relatively easy like the Elantra (I say easy because I usually don't get within 2% of @Metalgear9493 at all and definitely not within 3 laps).

The car is a lot of fun though. You definitely need some throttle control without TC which makes it challenging to have clean exits.

Actually a 48 seems possible. Just like the Mustang one I might actually come back and try to go for it.

Unfortunately I did not safe the replay. Is there any way to do it without the replay? If I actually do go back to it I will try to remember to save the replay and then make it available.

Easy solution is that you go for a new personal best and save that lap... 😁 Thanks for your effort!

To be honest I am a controller user and had a lot of fun at Road Atlanta it was short addictive for that one more try.

The results for TT165 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo are over here and for TT166 at Nürburgring GP in the Hyundai ELANTRA N '23 over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT are in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Here are some interim statistics for TT167 at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit in the Ford Mustang Gr.4.

Wow less than 4% managed gold, I found it very easy to get with 2 tenths of gold then nightmarish to actually get below 1.08.3.

Deep Forest eh, this is a track I have no love for and generally avoid as it was so hard on a pad, but now I have a wheel i need to put my big boy pants on and give it a whirl. Great choice of car it has to be said, well suited tot he flowing sections.
