The new TT is great, an excellent lesson in carrying speed and momentum. The car is surprisingly capable of spinning given the low power and also quite rear happy on the brake balance. So this is not a matter of chucking it around like the Hyundai at NGP last week. This is a good TT for anyone new to the game to learn basic principles.

Managed a 49.9, I will find a 49.5 to be safe i reakon.

Got her down to a 49.3, optimal 49 flat, that's enough I think, take my money and run.

I will take the Nürburgring GP layout chicane anyday over to this last corner..... 🤣🤣 this is going to be a whole week of last corner frustration ....

As I also enjoy this combo but still be several seconds away may I ask you to publish your sector times? If you would share your ghost I would appreciate it a lot as we are usually not that far away (= me behind you). By the way, great lap time, mate!
I did it. Tiny improvement only but improved my optimum quite a bit. Likelihood of me coming back for that 15 has increased again.

I shared the replay with the tags gtplanet, gtptt and gorefast.

My sector splits are as follows:
1) 21.592 (my PB is in the .4s but I generally suck hard at T1)
2) 1.09.000 on the money (I think this sector was really good but not totally sure about the Cutting)
3) 1:43.938 (lost time through the dipper and Forest's Elbow is always hard but this one was ok, I had better exits though)
1000019059.webp

1000019058.webp

4) final time of 2:16.250 (completely butchering the Chase losing about 3 to 4 tenths there)

My little cheat code is to use a top replay and set ghost settings to 0.0 offset. This way I can learn to perfectly mimic their breaking inputs which is especially crucial at this track with all the trail breaking.

Personally I use Calster whenever possible because he's on a pad like me.

My days being fast are over lol.. My best attempt on Panorama.. X throttle [] brake L1 R1 shifting

Your lap is pretty solid and gold time on X and square is good achievement.
May I ask what is the reason you don't invest some hours to switch to L2/R2 to give you a bit more control of let's say keeping a brake on 50% when needed, as example?

Just tried the Mustang Gr.4 @ Mt. Panorama, and got a gold time that I think was 2.87% off the top, which is splendid considering how I don't feel like it took long at all to get there. I definitely recall my OPT even being 2:16.xxx!

Finally a car that is not glued to the floor and understeer forever. Got to love a Miata....ooh wait....I do have one :D

Anyway, I might actually try to get into the 47s.

THat is hustling, damn. I do like my avg powered cars, my 105 Giulia or a Miata. In the end I settled on a 997 because the roads here are DEAD STRAIGHT so wanted more of a kick in the pants but eyeing off an FRS/BRZ for the boy when he turns 17 to get my lower powered kicks.

The Road Atlanta one was tough to Crack, but I eventually got that magic lap. The Nurburgring one took literally 4 laps to get that magic lap for it.
