Best time so far in ford RS 200 is 1.07.939 struggling with it now, don't seem to be able to keep it together for a decent lap.
probably something to do with ability, must admit though not my best discipline, so fairly pleased with time.
Not giving up yet though there may be more time to come yet.
Want to compare times? add me, psn id stewyripper

For me Hoot, and for many others, the Ford is just quicker, simple as that. And most here have tried both.

Thanks D. I got it sorted. It's really too embarrassing to discuss - forgot to turn the traction control off. Ble-eep. Doing about the same times now as with the Delta and seeing some potential to go faster.

Edit: got a new record with Ford. Now exactly 1 sec behind Suba. Might go faster after work.

Yeah mate, wheel spin needs to be under control however I tried TC1 and it's like throwing out an anchor at every gear change, certainly doesn't work for these cars on this track.
And cars usually come with TC at position 5 which would make it hopeless here.
Good to see you got on top of it.

1:07:391 in the rs200 for 228th pos. Add me if you want to compare times in this tt and future ones. Psn id: Efro_88

First run today using the RS200 (thanks pmjg66 for the loan 👍 ) & managed a 107.288 but I think 106.6xx is possible for me. Having an issue with rotation on the second slow lefthander & using the E-brake seems to be hit and miss due to car speed (lack of). Bumped up the rear springs on pmjg's tune which seemed to help me.

Anyway it's a fun combo :D

Well done Suba!! 👍

thanks doodle, congratulations to you for all times in all TT:tup:

i cant say for sure which car of 3 is faster....coze help me alot the pmjg tune...for my opinion maybe one of the top drivers can tell us

RS2000 shared

good luck to all of you

Hey SUBA, I have to say - your Ford was an eye-opener. Thanks for sharing. I did a 1.07.4xx yesterday + room to improve.

I try this tune with DS3 however the car oversteer a lot I do think this is a good think for a rally car but the Lancia tune works better for me at least on that track with the Peugeot I can`t manage to make a good score and I doubt that the time will be enough for me to reach for na RS200 to try.

Down to a 1.07:341 with time to gain in that last right hand corner. Key for me is a good smooth exit out of the last switchback before the bridge and keeping wheel spin in check for the most part.

Down to 106.662 using the S4 (thanks pmjg66 for the share) but I think I can find another 0.2 sec using the RS200. Probably need a low 106.6xx or high 106.5xx to stay in the top 100 on this one.

Another slight improvement to 1:07.467 using Pmjg's tune, albeit with a little less weight, as is my preference.
Have been 7 tenths in front of my ghost at the bottom of the downhill section before the sweeping r/hander heading into the uphill section.
Seems I'm a bit like a Rolls Cunardly, goes well downhill but 'can hardly' get up 'em.
Anyway, snuck back under #400 again, now on 394...for a while.

Which/whose tune are you using Stewy?

I downloaded Yinato's ghost to see how he does this TT and found he doesn't change down from 2nd to 1st at all in the race whereas I do very briefly on the 1st r/hander, 1st l/hander and then the 2nd r/hander to enable me to spin around them quickly.

I tried not using 1st but found I was much slower staying in 2nd. Of course what what works for me may not work for others.

I noticed his oil light is also on so expect he is gaining a few hp with dirty oil.

I noticed the oil as well but dont have a 2nd rs to do it to.
As for the tune, i am using is a mish mash of tunes which works for my driving style.
Just reduced my time now from1.07.989 down to 1.07.581. pleased with that but more time to find yet, keep trying, don't give up.

sent a friend request and put rs200 on share for you to try.

Thanks for that Stewy, I'll fire up the PS3 later today or this evening, perhaps when the kids are in bed, and have a try with it.

9.40pm...Tried your car Stewy but couldn't improve with it. Incidentally, when you share a car only the A tune gets shared, not the B tune and C tune.
I noticed that your car is at 0 height which may be better suited to dirt tracks. Pmjg's tune has -50 in front and if I was starting a tune cold I definitely would have it much lower than 0.

I expect your B or C tune is the one you did best on. Anyway, thanks for letting me have a go with it, but I'll keep using my version of Pmjg's for a while longer.

edit, I see a hacker has claimed 1st place with a 1:01 time. Hopefully he will be removed soon like the other spoil sports have been.

Bit of a fist pump moment with a 106.478 in the RS200 :D I could possibly find another 0.2 sec if I nailed a near perfect lap but pretty happy to be ahead of Doodle at least until he reads this post :P

Thanks again to pmjg66 for the awesome tune on this loaner 👍

Naah. I really can't bother to give it another go. Well done. 👍

Seems a week off from the TT did good, finally broke the 107's 1:06.842. 1st run with abs 10 instead of 1....never really notice a diff with the abs, but who knows. Variation of Suba-pmjg66 tune. thanks
