Yup. If you get in the car in your garage, change the Brake Balance or anything in the settings then go to GT Auto and do stuff in there the changes won't be logged. It will still be 0/0/0 but with an oil change or new paints scheme or aero etc.

Certain GT500 cars now have less PP, mine from 600pp dropped to 567PP, looks like the leaderboard would see some changes.

EDIT : It's now maxed at 592PP :D - high rpm turbo, max aero, no ballast. With Engine tuning stage 3 : 601PP.

We are having the same problem with the WRS TT's. The cars we are using won't even come close to 600 PP now.

Did exactly the same thing yesterday and found the added hp a help, still considering adding mid turbo as the benefit from the lower aero (added hp) only kicks in at the top of 5th and 6th, if I recall correctly.
Won't be playing until later today though to provide figures.

I did not bold it, that is what you do, as Killers post shows. But that was a post of yours and I was just pointing out that you said, "Not that I'm any real threat to win, but I just like to compete in as many TT events as possible."

Yet you have avoided this one so far, while posting on it. Just curious about that.

Incidentally, I compete in every Time Trial which comes up, I don't just pick the ones which I think I can do well in. That way one gets experience across many areas. Of course to each his own.

And, happy to start all over again if you are. OK, slate clean.

We are having the same problem with the WRS TT's. The cars we are using won't even come close to 600 PP now.

Some premium and standard : a few older Supras are affected, as well as some Skyline GT500 from pre '00, they could be good choice now for online races and TT, as some of them have a lot more grunt at close or more than 600HP at 600PP ( often with no ballast and max aero )

If those TTer's realized how fast these cars which have their PP reduced ... those quick NSXs might get replaced by Supras and GTRs.

I think we might see more HSVs on the leader board @ Motegi. The PP adjustments gave this car a big boost here. This is great news for me because I HAVE to use premium car cockpit view. I last tried this TT two days ago sitting in the low 500s @ 1:48.393. I tried pretty hard to get there too. Did not want to play today but stupid curiosity about the update clouded my judgement. After loading the update I saw that I got 17 more hp, gave it about a 20 minute effort and got a 1:47.66 @308th. I might have something left too. This is big for me because I like GT500 and not being competitive w/ standard cars is a bummer. I wonder what 2.10 is going to do for the GTRs.

Sorry, I was wondering about the premium GT500 GTRs. I wonder what they will be like at 600pp now. I will try it soon. Thanks though.

Don't like ABS much do ya? :D . Well I didn't use ABS here. Haven't used it in ages.

I just barely got gold in this Time Trial.

I used a Raybrig NSX with a Stage 3 Turbo (couldn't do it without a completely stock one).
No custom settings or anything. All aids off, ABS-1.
Time: 1'51.955 :)
I will see if I can get some time off.

Madrid wasn't much better.
A stock F430 Scuderia was used here: 1'35.363.
Ik don't like driving tracks backwards...

I couldn't resist so I bought a Yellowhat and in 3 laps I was into the 46's. In a couple of days I'm guessing you'll see a whole new leaderboard.
 
Takata Dome NSX 1.50.5xxx with no driving aids (and abs = 0). I'm sure i have that 0.5 left to break into 1.49.xxxx but may not have anymore opportunities to give it a try :(

That is a fast time, I can only do low 1:49 with a base tune, just slap a turbo, shorten the gearing, max aero, I did it with no ABS, the car slides on entry and exit of some tight turns, pretty exciting :D

Toyota Yellow Hat YMS Supra '05 Premium, this one has massive PP reduction, a real yellow monster now :D, 651HP,1100kg,max aero, super awesome at 600pp, could be NSX's and GTR's killer in the right hand.

Got out my Nismo Pennzoil and could only reach 593hp (1200kg stock) @ 564 max PP. Where do I find the other 36PP? And like it is it's hopeless.

Will check out the Supra later.

Go to tuning shop on GT Life main menu, buy engine tuning stage 3 :D, I think every GT500 car can be upgraded to stage 3.
By the way the YMS Supra '05 also needs the stage 3 engine + high rpm turbo to reach 651HP 👍
Don't forget to do engine + chassis overhaul on used race cars.

Now go get them and obliterate those NSXs:sly:

Oops, I'd just checked, those GTRs can't be upgraded with engine tuning ... :( sorry

But you can try Woodone Tom's SUpra '03, with high rpm turbo + max aero, it sits at 600HP, 597PP - after oil change : 630HP at 605PP
Engine tuning stage 3 available for this Supra, 672HP at 613PP with max aero and zero ballast - no oil change. Car is from UCD with some miles on it.

Damn... I've been running the Takata Dome NSX with 560hp, 1172kg, and just below default aero, which is not much aero..... I was using the Ceremo Supra so i'll try the 05 supra and then plug in my tune and see what happens. I hope i get a chance before the TT ends :O

Surprise, the rankings have shifted now, YMS Supra '05 is at the top breaking into 1:44.7xx at Motegi TT, Woodone Tom's Supra '03 follows at very close gap. The next group of competitive cars could be the standards GTRs, even with less than 600PP, most of them have close to 590+HP, max aero and no ballast.

Now I wonder if those aliens and top ranked ones who depended on NSXs would jump ship to Supra or stick with NSXs to put up a fight ..... Interesting outcome it will be :D

thanks borowillow, had to fidle with the gearbox a bit, your nice tune got me a high 1:28, feels like there's more to squeeze out of it!
Did this after the 2.10 update so i guess they still havent fixed the "funky town syndrome" regarding the suspension.

If the Yellowhat is quicker, everyone will jump to it... no point in making life difficult for yourself!

Shame, as the NSX is a great car to drive.
