tips on 4wd drifting on a wheel

Can anyone here drift a 4wd in a wheel? If u can please give some tips and settings or what car to pick. Thx

I find it difficult to drift anything on a wheel... There's not a lot of space, depending on the wheel size... I don't even want to think about trying to fit a car on there...

Check out the AWD excersises... Download some of the vids... A few of the IDM drifters use a wheel... These are only the beginning of the "Drift Excersise" series... I will continue to add new excersises, so keep checking back...

I got a wheel a while ago. Its all about practice and getting used to each car. Each car gives different feed back. Its great to drift with the wheel. Just practice, practice, practice. You'll get the hang of it.

I originally got my Driving force for GT3, but after attempting to drive using it, not even drift, i found it extremely....extremely difficult, from my prepped Track cars, to my drift cars, i couldnt replicate what i could perform with the DC2. Along with GT3, some person on this forums mentioned the game LFS, and i checked it out and got hooked, I remember the days when gabbicks and Nk4e tried startin a drift team there. But since then, with LFS i got extremely used to drifting and controling with my driving force, so hopefully with some more practice, playing GT3 will be cake. so...if you got a wheel, check out Live for Speed ,
and play....its amazing

Make sure to put the streering assist type on pro this will give you a more realistic feel when driving.

Yes, good point... Most automatically assume the "Simulation" setting is best... However, the Pro or Amateur setting is far superior for drifting especially... The simulation limits the amount of countersteer you can apply, and thus hindes your vehicles driftability...

Aye, I noticed this right away. I can drive grip or with Simulation, but forget it when it comes to drifting. So don't feel bad about that. In this particular case, it IS the game and not you.
