tire lasting, hard or soft

is there a diffrence in the time it takes to make my tire 'get damaged' longer with the race hard than the race soft ones?

in real live it is right?
i ask if gt offers the same principe

Yes the grip on soft tyres will fade quicker than medium or hard ones.

You can also find this info in the game if you check out the descriptions of the tyres when buying them.

Tire dont' get damaged they just wear out. Hard compound tires should outlast softer compounds.

yea i red that post to but it was about the real live tire wear and the in game, not about hard/soft difference.

but whatever, i know the answer so u can lock this up or how's it done here?

After the new update I took my vette around monza and here was my findings:

RS's~~ 5 laps
RM's~~ 4 laps

Work that out??
