I believe we are using different setups - we have both but I think Akmuq is running a different one


Also I cant remember if it was 140 but it was close - probably 135 or something
 
here is something interesting. (or not) The Honda is carrying the least kinetic energy heading into the corner so far which may be the reason it is very fast in fast corners. less energy to change direction. these are the values for the cars kinetic energy at the end of the straight . this is the amount of energy that the car is carrying at the braking point for the first corner. just kinetic (moving) energy in a straight line

Well that was almost 100% perfect for me - just lost a th in final sector but its hard to do that every lap - Im always hitting 1.21.0's in race so that helps more 👍

Just went out in the VW -did an outlap, then did 1 lap - all default settings (everything)


I got 1.20.794

And I went 2ths up the next lap only to brake on the grass

VW is too fast. Its got very good brakes (2/1) and better than my Honda tbh, fine handling and good power - and with a default settings imagine what it would be like with a setup.........

i took his speed of 130, which is 58 .1 ms, then foloowed the thing through. its quite interesting though, the fact that it carries so much less energy than the rest of the cars

sounds about right! man i should get out more! i did use this as an excuse for my revision. even though we only deal with object with energy levels < 1000j. oh well, it all helps me for my exam ;)

that sounds fair, but it then it won't be fast round HSR and Le mans, which is where i feel it should dominate (like the honda at nurgburgring and cape ring)

But were not dominating - were just ahead of others

The VW is miles quicker at HSR
 
Im sure 10BHP loss wont help its straight line speed. :p


However, I think we should perhaps wait till after the 1st round, maybe, I dont know :S

Oh how I would wish to just see the original S4 specs... well I'll be hopping back on as soon as ABS are allowed and I manage to make Sprint Cup so that I can do both at the same time.

chris is the mini fully tuned on the engine bits?

EDIT: just checked the regs, i think you should be allowed the racing exhaust to get you to 295...
 
i had a talk with furi via PM over this issue and i think that with the racing exhaust i would get to 296BHP
