ABS is the same story. Look at marunda. He finished 7 of 7 races in the Elise championship on the podium. No ABS, while the others had it. Some of us are just plain more skilled without using ABS than with it.

You can't just add ABS now. I've got a whole new setup based around it - so if ABS is back its wasted effort 👎
 
But you could say, more people are skilled at using TC than without it, so lets use Traction Control.

Also, I personally think MT should be madnatory too. I used it on DS3, and have been using MT since I was about 3... (Grand Prix Legends <3 )



Edit^^ Can't believe I am saying this, but I agree with Strawman. My setup is ABS orientated. BUT, if the majority vote for ABS on, then fine, I don't care either way.

Then you would lose side views, which really help in some instances.

Some of us don't use MT, so why should it be mandatory? Before you throw in the "skill-less" card, Biffy also uses AT, not just me, and he's a championship candidate in FIA GT1 and your touring car series...

I use mt but I don't see why it should be mandatory - especially for ds3 users

I should note that I never said you guys should switch ABS back on now. I was saying that if any common sense was used when making the rules, you wouldn't have had to go through all that banter.

Besides you wouldn't get the penguin back for this season no matter what rule changes you make, because NASCAR.

AT makes driving MUCH easier, as you don't have to get the gear change right to help you point the nose of the car in corners, and you don't have to worry about missing a gear shift down straights etc.

Transmission aids isn't the point though, we are talking ABS. Same point though,

There's no advantage with AT - if there was then everyone would use it

Anyway, this is a pickle. You turn ABS back on, then all the setups are nullified. (That a real word?)

Keep it off, the complaining continues.

I use MT because it means you don't change gear half way through a corner. :dopey:

Yes nullified is a real word. :lol:

I agree with Carbonox. But my opinion isn't really valid. :(

Ok, MT and AT, it's different for everyone. Also I like how no-one focuses on yesterdays good points, just the bad.

HELLO? 15 car races, no lag except for Strawman in R3 at start on mine, and no rage quitters!
 
No lag because the host was awesome.

Atleast, he was for the last 2 races. Hehehhee.

Only joking.

Yeah well there always is a little lag at race starts. But great stuff last night, just need to sort my car out...
 
Even thought I dont think you went about it the right way, Andy has done quite well to be 6th on his TOCA debut. 👍

Considering I got no Penalty for incidents - kinda proves I didn't do bad as most believed I had done.

I'll take the warning. Hope Paul does too

I am strongly in favour of no ABS, despite not warming to it in the beginning I've become accustomed to it and I think that we should continue racing without ABS. It adds a certain challenge to it that you just don't find in other series', sure there will be tears and crashes but it's down to the drivers skill to overcome the lack of ABS.
 
I don't think any of us used no ABS often before this series so we were all on a level footing.
