To all those moaning about the VW

Go get a Volvo, tune it to this years specs and take it out and try it. You'll stop moaning about the speed of your own car as the Volvo IS way off the pace.

Everybody's moaning about the VW being a second faster at a couple of tracks. The Volvo is 1-2 seconds behind at most tracks.
 
Both cars should be evened out. The Volvo is even slower at Monza, so that weekend is just going to be ridiculous.

Won't be there Saturday unfortunatly, something came up, hopefully marunda can race.
 
Seems to me what some of you are asking for is next to imposible trying to match cars to cars is a job in itself but trying to match cars to cars to individual tracks?? My god you would be lucky to see 1 toca series a year the amount of work that would take!!:crazy:
Individual lap times are always a little questionable for me its race pace imo that counts and this is effected by so many different things draft contact clean air blar blar.
Akmuq kicked our V8 butts in an M3 at HSR monday for a variety of reasons but it sure wasnt down to the car it was simply how the race panned out.đź‘Ť
Anyway off to plough Mrs Higgins field Ooo er.:sly:

I just set a 1.19.666 around Autumn Ring, another tenth to come at least.

I did some laps in the Volvo at Monza now too and results were 2:01.3 so its only .4 off my current Mazda time there, ill do laps at AR but im expecting 20s from it tbh.
 
I'll stick with consitent 1:21's. Yeah thats two seconds behind Mazda...

I sincerely hope that the cars will constantly be close to each other next season, in order to keep my personal interest up. :nervous:

And yes I am looking at the cars. Ideally I want to keep nearly all of this seasons cars and replace maybe 1 or 2 of them at most.
 
Just set a 1.19.592, also Furi, thats not the cars fault. Maybe your set ups.
 
In any case, depending on the Sprint Cup All-Star Race, if I don't make it OR it takes place late in the evening, there's my lil' chance for a brief comeback...

5:20pm... not too early really.

And @ Carb, at the moment we're pretty full. But knowing connections and drivers, we may lose a couple. If you found a deal as a replacement driver in a team though... that would guarentee you a place đź‘Ť
 
Over an hour on it, but I only did a few laps. I leave my PS3 on. :D
