Whats the news on stewards? I think that needs to be sorted before anything else (other than car specs) :p

Also don't get too many.

5 people who's opinions you can rely on and can rely on them to make an effort to look into every incident is better than 12 who give dodgy opinions rarely. 👍
 
I could be a steward but only a reserve with that date (21st July ) as GATE has a break for summer July to August (So I could do R1 and R2) but then theres 4 more weekends in August after the break. These arent official yet but im basing this estimation from Wardezes post on the PURE site.

As long as I get replays from someone I can look at it :).

how many do you have? also is the stewarding going to be like RL, as in both drivers accounts of what happened are noted and listened to?

Also if a steward has a vested interest (biased) because of team-mate, championship position (the steward could use driver A to lose a few places to close/increase a gap), and past history between the steward and the driver in question, is that steward allowed to participate in the dealing of situations?

I imagine the stewards just watch the replay and each put forward an opinion to which Furi listens and makes the decision. (?)

Yes but other stewards have priority in dealing with situations.

Didnt you say you didnt have the time/ like the idea when I suggested that in S4 thread?

And its down to the drivers not you/ stewards to look at the races?

The S3 model functioned well. Me as series head, 3 or 4 others as stewards, and we all work together. Also I have a little more time lately and of course replay controls make it a hell of a lot easier.

Another question - you guys prefer 3 races and a support event or 3 longer main races?

Average TOCA races, 15min potential lengths for some 25 min.
 
Losing interest to all TOCA related stuff atm, so might drop out after all.
 
Tonights WTCC had good and bad. But also serves as valuable info for me how to run things. Me and Lotus Espirit in taht were exchanging taps and bumps, but other were wildly dive-bombing.

Good news - I have some help on-board with sorting a penalty system out 👍

Stuff that, mate. Just dish out DQs as TOCA in real life would do and I employ in Nationwide for constant wrecking.

Just some guidance to help stewards, a return to the 1/2/3 strike system probably. Oh and instant DQ and ban for wrong wayers...
 
Sprint races and a support race sounds better to me.

it's been 2 days since the last one and you said there was going to be one every 2 days and we haven't had one since thursday's test results
