I had 3 hours sleep in france last night I stayed there, awake for whole of an 11 hour coach ride home, 6 hours sleep then a trip 40 minutes to a convention, back home and then another 2 hours out :ouch: .... I had around 14 hours sleep in 5 days...

@Neljack your 13th.
🤬!

Well thats probably my season over, usually have tea during quali races been lucky last few weeks parents have been out.

Me into 3rd in championship. Not that bad. I think haitch you ate up to 10th overall by the way.

After missing the 2nd round and only coming to race 3 of round 1 and you being too impatient for me to race in race 2 of nurb 24h thats not bad.

Credit where it is due. Good work. And from nelJack to get to 13th in 6 races. Just 7 races remain...

Where has the capital J come from all of a sudden .

I have actually driven very well this season. But no one ever gives me credit...

That's cause your car is allways fastest.........

Pick a slower car then you may get some.

In that case orama, haitch, and spurgy also should get no credit...

Spurgy deserves credit for constantly destroying everyone in any seres .

Not to mention VW too fast..

Wasn't dirty like previous races where everyone in the bad old days tried shunting each other off. Seemed like people were just not patient enough, a couple of names in particular keep coming up.

Just DQ them from the race. If people are continuously flouting the rules they don't deserve to be a part of the race. If the misconduct continues over several races, consider permanent bans or suspension for several races. 👍 Harshness is the only way to deal with it.

8 am? Try 2 days solid with a college day in the first day aka the coach trip. Left at 6pm after a day at college. Got beer on ferry at 3am. Stayed up all night. Tried to order coffee in German as it was a machine so I thought erm I shall have... That one.
Then stayed up the rest of the day.

Admit defeat! :p

Oh yeah? Well I go to sleep at 11pm and wake up at 7pm am on a regular basis.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it....

Nel. Who do you reckon is infront now:-).

No idea, but seems like Im not locked in which probably means my season is over due to timings (been lucky last few Saturdays), really need to avoid the quali races :scared:

I try my best :sly: And Hiatch I had a look at lap 5 and it was only one driver that divebombed at that corner surprisingly, the angle I was at made it look like more people.

Who was this person, I think they should be named and shamed :p

Going to look at replays, taking chance to get some pictures as well. Got around 7 pm's to check, 5 about Race 2.

Right-o. Incident Reports

Race 2 Lap 2
Haitch has gone by Sakery on exit of the corkscrew through turn 10, Sakery tries to cut off a fast approaching Spurgy. Coming into the final turn, perhaps not realising Spurgy's front bumper was just about in line with his rear, Sakery cuts through to try a legit move up the inside of Haitch, but this ends up with him catching Spurgy's bumper under braking and making him lose control so he shoots across into the IRT Volvo's of Haitch and O'Rama.

Race 2 Lap 5
A few scrapes early on in the lap, Chris and me run off in Turn 3, Spurgy aggressively but fairly gets by haitch into Turn 4. Spurgys move and adjusting for Chris still with dirty tyres running off at Turn 4 results in the field gradually bottlenecking together.

Coming into turn 5 it kicks off. Haitch fairly takes Spurgy back past but behind int he shuffling Snowcrash gets a tap from Conbon, and gets sideways, forcing him on the inside line. When he corrects he is suddenly on the inside of Haitch and Spurgy, which takes them by surprise (if they ever knew he was there). Snowcrash trying to adjust his line bumps them both out of shape and gets out of shape, Atin trying to avoid on the inside himself gets into Snowcrash's door. Haitch still trying to regain control catches Snowcrash and that spins him around. No-one at fault there, just an accordion effect of people backing up and running over each other. Everyone was busy trying to save their own cars and it's like a domino effect, one gets a small knock and others go.

However coming into the following Turn 6, this cluster are attempting to break up. DK pulls out slightly wide to free up room, Atin, not perhaps thinking he would do this, cuts the corner thinking the gap would n ot have been there. This puts Atin off-line and off the track, Snowcrash follows at the back on dirty tyres. In all this mess, O'Rama was the unlucky pinball.

However on a lighter note, for anyone who has Race 2 replay, look at Smuffys pass on me on the last lap, around the outside of Turn 11. Amazing move.

Race 3 Lap 7
Sakery gets a great bit of Atin's Volvo planted in the rear of his Infiniti at the corkscrew. Contact with Smuffy and Conbon at the last turn and there's a bizarre bit of bashing and banging out the turn. From first viewing it seems that Sakery just tries shoving them in the pit wall. Yet on freeze frame a look inside Sakery's car shows he is actually turning the wheel RIGHT to get him away from both BMW's. Infiniti rear end kick-out? Lag? Strange and as a result hard to pass any kind of judgement on.

Race 3 Lap 13
Coming into Turn 1, the Andretti Hairpin, Yeratel is a little lazy with steering which hits Chris off. Needed more care there, he could have steered to the left to avoid contact.

Verdicts
There is nothing particular penalty worthy in race that warrants a specific penalty. Everyone was being aggressive or screwed by being at the wrong point and wrong time. But I am issuing warnings to a couple drivers:

Conbon: Aggressiveness all around mate. I know you said pre-race you were nervous sometimes, but you were a bit dangerous, Race 1 you divebombed a few times. Tone it down, you get an Official Warning for that.

Yeratel: A little bit clumsy in Race 3, Official Warning issued there.

Standings will follow in a while.

1 for r1 and 1 for r3?

My races

Quali went as well as it could do as I know I'm not that good at reeling off good laps

R1, got a good start and moved to the inside of Yeratel, saw that he was lagging and thought better of it, then as I looked behind to see if anyone had got a run out of T1 Yeratel lag slapped me off the track and I dropped to last with almost complete damage! As I tried to rejoin the track the car snapped into Sakery, that was my fault sorry mate :( Fought back past Sakery and then put a wheel wide and spun again. Had to fight back past Sakery, gave him a tap which I'm not happy with my self for, and past Haitch. Finished 13th, my lowest TOCA finish ever!

R2, started from the front and yet again a good start, held back into T1, someone went off T3, and I made a couple places up so that I was 2nd. Then got pushed wide into T1 and was hung out to dry. Then next lap I was just a ping pong ball being pushed into car and car an it looked like I was d-bombing people but was being used as a stopping device! Finished 9th.

R3 was better, started middle but fought to the front, spent most of the race in 4th, catching Haitch hand over fist. However, Furi was catching me hand over fist. Forced him wide penultimate lap but then he pushed me off the track last lap which evened things out :p Finished 5th.
