I was speaking about TTs. Not races.

So ok, who else in here thinks they can run a 16.6 in Academy like Spurgy? Exactly! I bet most would struggle their ass off to do a 19.6? Yes, it's not racing but it's a pretty good indication of someone's skill level. And 3secs/lap (or more) is a heck of a difference.

Saying no-one in here is really a match for him is a fair comment and 50 wins from 70 races kind of proves it. It's 2.5 times as many wins as everyone else put together!

Still here causing anxed why?:irked::confused:

Not causing angst. But if people would just take 2mins to read and actually understand what it is that I'm saying they would realise it's quite sensible and based on sound reasoning. I'd have left pages ago but I keep getting responded too/quoted and just generally asked to explain everything that I say, along with things I haven't even said.

And Furi with his, "wouldn't have lasted long, bad attitude" spiel he keeps rolling out. I'd already left so there was no need for that. He's just one of these people that has to have the last word on everything.

It's fine, I won't look in here again. Hope you all enjoy the series 👍

TT's aren't always a benchmark of someone's skill. My best friend is a terrible hotlapper, but he always did good in races, better than you'd expect if you saw his qualifying lap.

I'm not saying Spurgy is a bad driver though. ;)

Spurgy is a great driver who puts time in the game => you get better than others.
In addition he is talented.
But that won´t give him stable interwebs xD (FGTC xDDD).

Well I was only 0.2 seconds behind him in every GT Academy 2012 stage but now he could drive reverse and will finish first.

Well enough is enough there is MF OT in this MF Thread xDD

I only DC'd once from FGTC :p

Spa tonight, 90 minute session, from 7.30pm.

The annoying thing with TOCA is there's quite a few people who could beat me, but don't really turn up; You, Dax, Joe, GKM, Carb, Sumo and Neljack when he's not in that slow BMW :D

You also seemed good at tyre management, so tyre wear being switched on worked in your favour.

I can't make excuses, I think I was also in the Volvo in S6 and all I managed to do was scrape a few podiums with it.

^Me and Spurgy found an incredible set up that's why.

Room to open in around 20 minutes. My illness i've had all week has got worse so don't expect to hear much from me tonight.

Spa test open!

Just got back from dinner, so I'll be on in a bit!

15 mins into 90 and not a single time has been put down

So you're complaining that no ones done a lap, when you haven't done a lap yourself ;)

No idea how I am 1.7 quicker than everyone (31.0) then can only do 32's.

Too bad I couldn't make it, I could've enjoyed a spa.

Sector 2 is tricky, it's easy to lose a second there when all of the corners add up.

Sector two is very good on 4WD cars. The golf has great mechanical grip and going through Pouhon the golf excels!

Golf to 315hp. You may commence moaning, but if so I don't see why. I averaged 32.0's, Yeratel was low 31's in BMW and Mazda.

I'm not gonna moan but that's a bit unusual.........

Been under consideration for a while, even O'Rama said a while back it was a bit slow.

This is true although I don't think it was a good idea to do it straight after the Spa test where the golf is brilliant :p If I am honest though, maybe it should be ballasted now so that its not even in the straights and superior in the corners. I think that it should be made fair as it is much better around long, quick sweepers than any other car.

I've got no teammate, no set-up and was horribly off the pace even running the wrong tires tonight, so my plans for the season are not going great

Good form 👍

:ouch: !

Moan, moan moan.

Oh wait, I drive a Golf. Hopefully it isn't OP now. Should be close for the most part. 👍

Just for the record I did a 2:32.283 but that was with that middle sector perfect!

At new specs I did a 2:32.2 and 2:32.3, but I know I can get a 31.9.

I got a 38.6 on hard tires so around 2 seconds faster on the medium tires so only around 4 seconds then
