It's something different to the other liveries so you know it's me near you.

Pretty close in qualifying with all 14 within 1.3 seconds with the top 13 within just over a second

So after that, who actually won? For thread title

Congratulations to the winners of Race 1 & 2.

Race 1 Smuffy, Race 2 Carbonox, Race 3 Akmuq. 8 winners from 9 races.

Standings to be released once a couple stewarding matters are done, but wow. Smuffy from 13th to 4th.

I was similar at Monza in S7 going from the quali race to win one of the rounds

Carbonox, Yeratel, Neljack. You all have PM's.

Why can't I have one of those evenings? :(

How long since you won DK? Season 3 was it?

Must of been as DK hasn't won when I've been a part of TOCA and I started in Season 4.1/4.2

No, season 5 at Monza.

Sorry had a Basketball-Tournament and we played pretty well so it was a longer Tournament for us than we expected xDD

Hope races where good and all are happy (not too much trouble hopefully).
Next week will be better.

Morning all :) ( that's how long this took me, was morning when I started and posted at 1:06 pm)

I have just watched all 3 races from Dj's car and although I could be slightly bias as he is my brother and team mate I would ask anybody who could have an issue with his driving to do the same. I consider Dj's driving to always be as clean as possible and always fair otherwise. Since the very first track time you guys had with him (Cape ring) where he was getting used to car he had never driven, lack of ABS and on a track he has only ever been on in A spec mode, you have all made him public enemy number 1. He admitted that night was very poor for him and sorted himself out for the heat race. OK at Monza there was a couple of incidents from his own silly mistakes, he was penalized for it and he accepted his penalty and moved on. Now I think it's time for some of the rest of you to move on from your 1st impressions of him.

Race 1:
Although there was a lot of lag right at the start of the race he did very well not to make contact with anyone and stay clean until an incident on lap 4 ended his race (from a good position) along with DK's. There is no evidence of Dj having poor driver conduct from this race!

1 DNF due to incident.

Race 2:
Dj started from pole having had race 1 ruined for him and holds in the lead pack until his own mistake on lap 6. In his time in the lead pack he was wheel to wheel through corners with carbonox on a few occasions with no real drama. He then continues to race for the lower positions with no further drama. Also no evidence of poor driver conduct.

Made mistake raced to 11th.

OK now Race 3  :indiff: :banghead: :trouble:  :
Starts near the front again and races in the lead pack well until lap 3 where Rolo causes an incident taking him off track (Rolo did give the places back 👍) Dj remains in 4th and keeps racing well and even allows Rolo past having put him in the wall of the tunnel due to a small mistake earlier in the lap. OK now lap 5 where there is contact between Dj and Carbonox. This incident went public straight after the race in the chat box and here on GTP by our very own 'steward'. I would upload footage if I had recording equipment (anyone that does have and can please do upload it as will be very useful for all to be able to see for themselves). Dj loses momentum into the tunnel resulting in him losing lots of places and puts Carbonox on his outside and Neljack on his inside into the braking zone and turn in for the hairpin and as we all know 3 into 1 dosen't go and as Carbonox was on the outside was always going to be the driver to lose out. I DO NOT THINK THAT BLAME SHOULD BE PLACED FOR THIS INCIDENT AND IT SHOULD BE PUT DOWN AS A RACING INCIDENT! AND DID NOT AFFECT CARBONOX'S RACE POSITION AT ALL! Carbonox then retaliates straight away in an unfair/unsafe and malicious manner by crossing the grass on the next apex in an attempt to take Dj out and then in the braking zone of the last corner turns into Dj removing him from the race altogether!

I hope others will watch the footage and maybe someone will upload some as I can't. I would expect to see a harsh penalty applied to Carbonox for his on track and off track behavior! If this is not done then I will be forced to question the fairness of the other 2 stewards and also forced to consider 1066 Racing's position in this series as I can not race in a series with unfair stewards. As you all know I am a quick and fair racer and have already won a race so you could lose a good competitor and if you watch the replays from Dj you will see that he does have good car control and is fair but maybe not quite got the out right speed but can race well.

This is not intended as a rant but just my feelings on the events and the general perspective you all seem to have about Dj. 👍

I lost 2 spots because of DJ's divebomb on race 3...

I did not see any 'divebomb' maneuver.
What lap and corner?

Also you took him out the race on purpose!
IMO there is never an excuse for driving like that especially as a steward of this series!

Can't remember the lap, but it was the corner after the tunnel. Should've known better not to drive around DJ's outside, but honestly, I left him way more than enough racing room and he still felt like it was better to grab the position by leaning. 👎

Also, you could check the beginning of lap 6 in race 2 from DJ's perspective... what the 🤬 was he thinking when he cut straight across the track into Smuffy after his off-track excursion?!

It sounds like the incident that has been mentioned in my above post so please look at the evidence for yourself.

As for the smuffy 1 I'm not sure that he had control of his car enough to stop it and he apologized after the race for that.

...lack of ABS...

You do know ABS can be set to 1 right? It doesn't have to be turned all the way off.

Also would you like to elaborate on my off track behavior?

It is, Dj usually has very high pressure and very high ABS (I.E. 7/8 pressure and 5/6 ABS)

ABS 5/6....................oh dear:scared:

Screw DJ. I'm done racing little boys like him. Now I know what it feels like to have Dano in the field.

That and the comment in the chat box of the lobby.
Also to add taking an Incident public both here on GTP and in the chat box of the race lobby.
I will add that in this case the off track behavior is a very small offence compared to the on track behavior.
