Exactly. It's the ultimate version of racing on backroads.

If you guys want technique about touge, watch Best MOTORing (my sig), but GT4 don't have :(, at least it has the Touge Monster : Amuse S2000 R1 :D!

BTW, it's not a technique. It's a style of racing. If you want examples look at Best motoring as previously mentioned. As far as the world of anime goes, check out Initial D and that will give you a good look at the type of racing that goes on. But of course, take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah, lol. Initial D = hyperealism at it's finest. Great series, even though I would never condone such racing in reality.

ha HA, its not a style or a technique, its a place you go to run. touge literally means mountain pass. people drift up there and do grip runs, but its not a style or a technique.

i dunno which best motoring it was.... but i remember a very nicely tuned MR-S was owning!!
It was the Spirit MR-S (the street one), because there are 2 Spirit MR-S : one is for racing & the other for street (For Touge 200), but their MR-S was stolen, you should check out "JDM Racers about the Spirit MR-S".

Sorry for off-topic.. :guilty:

Anyways, Best MOTORing is great reference of Touge/Japanese tracks.

the closest to tight winding mountain roads is definitely alamafi and aria. theyre pretty much tougesque. i think the touge technique would be rally style driving where you let your assend of your car get abit loose in some sharp corners. the touge course in bmi isnt quite like the touges in initial D, though its still pretty close to the ones i mentioned in gt4. the only difference is that its a circuit course instead of point to point. i still find it quite fun to drive on them.

hyperrealism my a**(manual stars) no one has god-like technique of Takumi & BUnta.

 Do you even know what hyper-realism is ZeroDrifter?

It meaning, possible to do in terms of physics, but impossible in terms of skill.

There is some awesome real touge footage in the JDM Option DVDs especially vol 5 and 9. The best motoring ones are pretty good too, but they are actually driving in a bicycle course used for training so not real underground. The JDM Option DVDs are pretty sick, because they go to the mountains and find the underground drifters who bomb it.
