Just looks like they are showing a replay of a real life Super GT lap at the top and comparing it to how accurately GT5 is representing it due to the use of the new GPS functionality.

not just GPS functionality, but GPS + CAN (Controller Area Network)

Which track is this (new Suzuka?)

To me it looks like she is showing off her new hotpants...:)

Fuji it is...dark and light?..old and new rendering?...maybe we could see better with a better quality picture...

spy.

Japanese girls are very attractive.

Finally! Some truthiness! (Yes, I watch the Colbert report - very funny show, if you ask me)

So basically there were no new mentioned manufacturer agreements like had been mentioned? That's all I was really caring about.

Me too. I'm sorely disappointed that the manufacturer agreement was with Denso for a GPS system. It has great potential for the future of the game, but it will be years before we see it's impact. They need to get this thing in major qualifying events at major circuits so we can race against the fastest drivers in the world before this becomes useful.

Look at the arm of the GT driver, could he do that in GT5P? 💡

Yes he could.

BUT

we never saw it like that. The bottom pic isn't from the driver's point of view, not even close. That camera is mounted somewhere between the seats - you can see the side of the gauge cover thing!

So it looks like another replay cam is confirmed, then.

I shall dub it the "interior mounted camera somewhere between the seats" cam, and it shall be good.

Sony could at least put it in line with what its competition are offering, Nintendo fixed any Wii for free which broke due to some update a while back and MS has the 3 year warranty.

I just dont have the tolerance for over hyping by a company and then they deliver a very expensive and very temperamental product. Sadly this is becoming more and more common which tech companies. The fact sony released the Slim so quickly showed the fat was flawed both in pricing and complexity in my opinion.

Its very rare to hear that someone has an original fat still working that hasnt at least been fixed or replaced once.

Robin.

I still have an original 60gb fat PS3 from release and it hasn't had a single issue so far.

^^ Catchy name, i think that'll stick :p.

Hopefully, because I imagine a lot of people are going to be using it for comparisons with real footage, and IRL people tend to use the "interior mounted camera somewhere between the seats" cam. Most on-board footage is taken with it, after all.

I second that. Still chugging away perfectly, and its had a lot of use and I often use Folding@Home. It even gets carted around from different places frequently.

I should probably find some wood now...:O

^^^^^Another off topic. LMAO!!!!

Here's a display at TAS (Second picture). It's just a demo from GT Academy. Sucks really. Maybe they just meant that they are displaying a lot of GT academy demos, so a lot of people can play.

Off topic. Has anyone notice the suns location in FT 86G video? I was watching it earlier and I notice this.

The one in GT5p is that the sun are around north west or west of the Fuji track, but on this one it's on the east or north east. Go figure.

I fourth that, the thing's a little trooper. Needs a new HD though, maybe I'll pick up a 1TB for it

Dont, 1tb are currently just too unreliable.

See if you can get a 500/640 with a decent cache.

And for my final piece of off-topicness my 60gb pal original is still as happy as ever.
