My fastest car is the Z15AM ('99 3000GT/GTO), it has 864 HP, and it was the only car I used in the game besides the older Z15A ('97 3000GT/GTO). The 3000GT has enough power to outrun any car in the game. The most important thing was to get it to weigh less and handle better. Once that is done, it is one fast car.
 
eh?Gran Turismo,you need to learn how to keep your crap to yourself,rather then spreadin' it everywhere =P.I have you know,I own Battle Gear 2 and it's a kick ass game.So I expect even more coolness out of the sequel,but I haven't got the chance to play it yet -.-.So before you start talkin' s**t,then I would suggest you at least play the game first.Hmph

sorry if I offended you earlier Gran Turismo,but I really do like that game....well,anyways..yes,it is a racing game.And Naoki,I have a Japanese PS2 and an american PS2.

Anywho...Battle Gear 3 looks very very similar to Gran Turismo 3 in the graphix aspect of it, however it's ARCADE racing..IE..Seat/shifter And multiplayer, the best part of it is you can store your information and tune your car and play against people all over the world..And you store your information on a key..A REAL key in which is encoded with your user information which is sent to the main servers...Actually very very addictive game..burns a hole in your pocket..But is good for hours and hours...I personally think it's better than that Ferrari Challenge game...Although it's a close third
Behind Wangan Midnight(Which I still love, even though it's simple now)..

hey guys i just got this game. got the evolution (VII i think) have stage 3 engine mod on it, best exhaust) putting 429hp down but i cant even beat unhappy angel (in the 240sx i think) how do you unlock more places? i saw in "VS MODE" that there were a lot more places i have only i think 4. i have around $65,000 and was wondering what would be a good car to fix up and race that would literally OWN most of the other cars?

$65K uh? The Mistubishi GTO / 3000GT would be good, But the Skyline R34 is just good.
 
I have a 3000 GT, the z16a, and its got bang for the buck. I started with the Evo III and built up funds and I still own that and the 3000 GT. The GT has stage 4 engine in it and the turbo boost so I'm pushing about 530 HP. Was wondering tho....any tips on setting gear ratio? I have been experimenting, but I still feel like im topping out too soon.
 
the R34 is the best it was my 3rd car and i beat the rest of the game with it even all the vipers and whatnot. the other skylines from the bosses are good to some have a little over 1000 hp

Yeah. Speedking's Skyline is pretty awesome. Over 1000HP + it looks like the Calsonic Skyline from the JGTC :D

BTW: In Speedking's Skyline, when going very fast, has anyone noticed something that looks a little like smoke coming from the sides of the wing?
 
not the skyline but i did notice that with the viper with the 5th wing i think were on the roof theres 2 little scoops. it does come from that too
 
whats the highest lvl engine you can get i have 6 with the game beat but in the rivals screen the last guy you beat has 1104 hp with his car and with same car i have 890hp whats up with this?
 
you have to put either 1500 or 2000 miles on your car to unlock the last level of upgrades. Save some money before you do this, cuz they are really expensive.

I thought it was 1800 miles?

I need to get this game again. It was really fun :) I'm sure I could beat it before TXR01 comes to the US.
 
I saw it at Best Buy the other day for 14.99. I'm going to ask again just incase anyone can come to the rescue. Does any one have any suggested gear ratio settings. I have experimented and found what I like, but would like to hear what others have done. THANKS!!:confused:

HAHA, the game has another year, or another decade until its release. TXR0 is still a good game.
 
i Beat the last rival with the skyline that has the funky lookin thing on the hood and the high beams are red. This is a very sweet car(my opinion) i made it all black with black rims very nice.
 
thx for info i found a gear ratio thats really good on speed kings cars set all 1-6 gear all the way to the left then set final gear all the way to the right i got 263 mph max and gave good acceleration i didnt try tweaking the 6th gear to see how fast it can go the highest speed i got was 263 on 3 cars;)

I thought it was already out in Japan? Didn't somebody say that it had already been out in Japan for like 4 months?
