excelent! the attention to detail is great.........i should do another vector. havent done 1 in ages!
 
I think the RX-8 could look better if you removed some lines. Also, the bottom spoke on the front wheel just looks tilted a little too much. Otherwise though, it's great. I'm just really picky when it comes to this stuff.
 
yes it was.. but he is saying to get rid of the lines now that the shaddow is placed.
 
Dammit I really need to get on with some vectring/line-art. I've got a couple of speccy pictures at home but the challenge is daunting, so I keep putting it off. :grumpy:
 
i use line-tool, eraser, eye-dropper, and paint can ;)
 
Pen tool is the best way of creating smooth lines. I started with line tool (see page one, post one), and it looks to jaggy. Pen tool kicks ass.
 
It is very good but woul, in my opinion, be much better if it was in a less horrible colour.

Hm. Pen tool at 1 pixel is always very jaggy for me. See my Acura RSX @ DeviantART.

Any ideas how to make it less jaggy?
 
You could always try a slight blur just before final composition, I guess (assuming photoshop)

1px always seems jaggy, even if it is anti-aliased.
 
sometimes for me it only looks jaggy on in some views.
like 67.7% for instance then when i go to 100% it turns smooth.

BTW - It's a Voodoo Les Paul. This one is gonna be detailed, but the paintjob on the guitar is most likely going to screw me up. Pfftt.
 
looking good u18c i havent vectored for ages but i only ever did one vector so i might try summit this week as i have a week off college;)

There's a whole city apartment block's worth of talent in this thread. I think I said somewhere in the thread that we should have a vector competition. The results would be very very close indeed.
