I won't ever accept that as a Vector. It's just too real. (Hidden complement! :D) Great job, Slick!

Holy 🤬!

That's really effing beautiful Slick! GREAT JOB! It's soooo well done! 👍!

I'll definitely fave it... a few months later. I've got my account banned at deviantART (don't worry, it was on request, next I'm going to ban myself from GTP... on request) currently, so accept this as a fave

xD Awesome stuff man, I really hope to see more from you!

Awesome, slick. Very beautiful.

And now the 1000$ question: Why make it look so similar to a real picture? I don't get it.

Slick6 I love it :)

Not a car, but a WIP nonetheless:

I guess it's just my style. I like super-realistic pieces so it's kind of how everything turns out. Hard to explain. 👍

Heh, I would be finished by now, but I just spent the last two days editing and doing the sound for a school movie. Back to work...

lol.. i didnt notice that i didnt put the final version down yet

Good enough for me. ;)

donbenni, must say your toons are growing every time I watch them, each toon is very consequent in how you apply your "style" on them. 👍 Really like it.

Thanks guys :)

@ Suz: Really cool stuff, love how custom it looks (those mirrors :P). Perhaps a little plain down the side (?)

Excellent, simply excellent don. Love the rims and the mesh grilles (whatever those things are called :grumpy: ) I really dig how simple the body shading looks, and that contrast near the doors 👍 Awesome-o!

this isn't a car but when i finish i'll make one since its been so long :)

WIP outline.. Mopar D1 Viper

 Suzq! if you post a bunch of progressions of this project I'll make an animated ava out of it for you! :sly: or me! j/k :D:tup: Looking forward to your progress!

lol.. i have imageready.. but you can if you want.. that'd b cool. ps: here's another update ;)

Suz, are all of those guidelines for the shading or will some remain in the final product?

Also i think the right side front wheel arch is looking very square.

Obviously aside from that i'm looking forward to another great piece :)

none of them will be there when i'm done, they are for shading purposes..

After a long break, I have started up on my 180sx again.

180sxvector.jpg

Its still far from being done. Missing alot of stuff there, like detail on the side marker and the fog lights are still non existant on there.

update... i changed the bg color, because obviously white on white, just doesnt work. lol

It's looking great! I can see a lot of work has gone into this.

Can i just ask your views on photo realisitic vectors? Like, when you create your vectors what things do you have in mind for the final result? :)

another update.. almost, but not quite..
... now i'm done :dopey:

.. and the animation :sly:

as far as your question; When I start a pic, i just look at the colors, and the lines i want to be in there, some of them i draw after the main stage, because i want something to look better, or there were more color deliniation than i had originally thought.. normally, i just go for it, not really thinking about it too much.. :dopey:

-susan

It'd be better if it blended into each stage. 👍
